Corrected entry: In the scene near the beginning of the film when you see the sign "100 miles to far far away",later on in the forest you see another sign that says 100 miles...,but you can tell that they didn't travel a mile due to dramatic weather change.
Corrected entry: When Donkey, etc. are in chains, he says something about not being read his Miranda rights. Although it's common practice to read these rights upon arrest, it's not a must. As long as the Miranda rights are read before any interrogation or questioning takes place, there's no problem.
Correction: That may be true, but most citizens believe they are to be read upon arrest. The generalities of the law are more well known than the particulars.
Corrected entry: When Shrek, Fiona and Donkey first arrive in Far Far Away, and get a glimpse of the royal castle, we see that the Hollywood-style "Far Far Away" sign is to the left of the castle. Later, Fiona is on a balcony in the castle at night, and Fairy Godmother arrives - and we see the FFA sign on the hill to the right of the castle. This also occurs once more in a scene with Shrek later in the film.
Correction: You could see the sign to the left and the castle in the background so it makes sense that the sign is on the right because they are looking from the castle.
Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie when Shrek and Fiona are in the "honeymoon house", Shrek carries fiona over the threshhold and takes out part of the frame (because Fiona is bigger than the frame of the door). In the next shot when Little Red Riding Hood knocks on the door and Shrek answers, the frame is intact.
Correction: The door frame has been "fixed" by the time Little Red Riding Hood shows up...you can see the cracks from the "repairs." This has been posted several times.
Corrected entry: When Shrek, Donkey and Puss In Boots are in the potion room and Shrek asks Puss to search for a potion on the upper shelves, Puss removes his sword, hat and boots. He later falls off the shelf and lands on the floor, with his boots on.
Correction: When he landed, he landed ON his boots that he took off previously.
Corrected entry: In the end sequence, there is a shot of someone stage diving. Shrek magically appears on stage to do a stage dive. We see him land on the dog and in the next shot, he is magically back on stage with everyone else.
Correction: You can see Shrek come back on to stage in the wide shot just after that. He dances very near the steps and could possibly just walk back up them.
Corrected entry: The Big Bad Wolf was at the castle when Prince Charming arrived looking for Fiona yet he failed to mention this to Fiona and Shrek when he is house sitting for them. A little heads up would have been nice.
Correction: In the first movie it is seen that many princes have tried to rescue Fiona... and failed. Tt's possible that even after Fiona is rescued that princes keep showing up to rescue her because they have not heard that she was already rescued.
Corrected entry: When Shrek changes from an ogre to a man, he has to find new clothes because his are too large. However, when he changes from a man back to an ogre, his old clothes return.
Correction: Fiona wishes to have the Shrek that she had before, which would include the old clothes.
Corrected entry: There is a bird that hits the wall and falls to the floor right in front of Fiona's parents. In the next few shots, the bird is no longer on the floor.
Correction: If you look, the shot never goes back to the center of the stairway where the bird lies. Fiona's mother blocks the center of the stairway in the shots after they step down the stairs.
Corrected entry: How did Puss in Boots get such a high reputation for slaying ogres if he is, pardon the pun, such a pussy?
Correction: He isn't. Puss in Boots has shown his adeptness at fighting (especially at the end). It takes skill for a little cat to take on a dozen or so guards at once. He is a good and brave fighter.
Corrected entry: When Shrek, Donkey and Fiona first travel to Far Far Away Land, the shots and dialogue imply that it takes a few days to get there. Or at the least, several hours. When Pinocchio, Gingerbread Man and others go to rescue them, they arrive within the space of one or two songs at the concert.
Correction: There's nothing in the film to suggest that they didn't fly there on the Dragon.
Corrected entry: The dove that crashes into the castle during Fiona's homecoming entrance disappears after the King steps over him and descends the stairs. The bird should be visible during several subsequent shots and none of the King's attendants would have removed it - everyone is still immobile with the shock of seeing the ogres and no one except the leads have moved.
Correction: The angle of the camera changes so that the dove cannot be seen.
Corrected entry: When the trio first enters Far Far Away, we see a "Farbucks" on one corner of the main street. When Mongo and Shrek tear through town toward the end of the movie, The "Farbucks" is now in the center of the block (and the townspeople run from one to the other, across the street, again, in the middle of the block).
Correction: There are obviously a number of "Farbucks" locations around the city.
Corrected entry: After Shrek has turned human and Donkey and Puss are there with him at the Poison Apple, above the door you can see what looks like Pumba from "The Lion King" on a plaque.
Correction: Given that the Lion King is made by Disney and this film isn't, this is unlikely to be a deliberate reference; and merely a coincidence that the two unrelated elements are similar-looking.
Corrected entry: Shortly after Fiona's dog is introduced, he is seen on the sofa while Shrek and Fiona are talking. The dog yips throughout the scene, but early on he yips twice and only opens his mouth once. Dogs must move their jaws when they bark, otherwise it sounds like a whine instead. (00:21:55)
Correction: The dog's barks are perfectly in sync. Most of the time he's yapping, he's hidden behind Shrek. When we do see him while hearing his barks, they are normal. He's quite small, compared to Shrek and Fiona, and given that small size and the fact that he's quite a few feet behind them, it may be hard to see his jaws moving, but there is no mistake here.
Corrected entry: Fiona knocks out Charming at the ball. Puss, sitting on donkey's back, holds the magic wand. They are 5-7 meters from the spot where Charming falls. There is a short clip where the Fairy Godmother talks with the King - and suddenly Charming grabs the wand from Puss. He couldn't have gotten up and over there so fast - and without anyone noticing.
Corrected entry: The hook handed man's voice changes between the two times he is playing the piano in the Poison Apple, due to the two different singers used to voice him. (00:26:35 - 00:58:05)
Correction: The 'hook handed man" is Captain Hook (from Peter Pan) and he is singing two very disparate pieces of music, the first very bluesy and calling for a gravelly voice and the second, a solemn piece. I know many people who sing differently depending upon the piece.
Corrected entry: When Puss jumps down from Donkey and does his "cute" act, all but one knight raise their visors. Puss then drops his cuteness and attacks the knights. All of them now have their visors down, too quickly and without any noise. (01:12:00)
Correction: When Puss goes into attack mode, the only sounds we can hear are him yelling and loud music. As he flies over the heads of the guards, their masks fall back into place -- you can see this on several of them. And we can't hear this because the cat and the music are covering that sound.
Corrected entry: When the pig is holding onto the fairy godmother's leg, his hat falls off and lands underneath. But as the fight for the wand continues, that hat disappears.
Correction: There is no way to tell where the hat fell. We are never shown a full view of the entire area after the pig loses his hat.
Corrected entry: Just one shot before Pinnochio is finally tangled in stripes, we can see his limbs are only a little bit wrapped in stripes, and then we see him tangled completely in stripes many times.
Correction: That's the whole point - he was flipping and twirling and he is suddenly entangled beyond repair in his strings. No mistake here.

Correction: Actually, there are several different signs...one for 'Far Away', one for 'Away' and one for 'Far Far Away', so there really isn't an error there.
