Revealing mistake: During the divorce hearing George's ex-wife throws water at Lucy. She seems to miss as you don't see any water on Lucy, but Lucy turns around and starts dabbing herself frantically. (00:21:20)
Two Weeks Notice (2002)
1 revealing mistake
Directed by: Marc Lawrence
Starring: Sandra Bullock, Hugh Grant, Alicia Witt, Dana Ivey, David Haig
Continuity mistake: After the argument in the coffee room following the stapler fight you can see that, when Hugh leaves, the stapler is by the coffee pot next to where Hugh was standing, although Sandra had already taken it to the other side of the counter (where you also see it in the last shot of the scene). (01:21:35)
Lucy Kelson: What did I tell you that defines an emergency?
George Wade: A large meteoroid, severe blood loss and uh... what was the other thing?
Lucy Kelson: Death! And you're not dead.
Trivia: In the trailers (on the radio in the UK, anyway), there's a bit with Hugh Grant saying something like "This is no job for a grown up - drinking without being responsible...actually, it doesn't sound that bad". This was never in the finished film.
