Continuity mistake: During the trial when Beverly is cross-examining Mrs. Ackerman, her neighbor, she asks if those were her scissors found sticking out of Mrs. Sterner's stomach. That's not where the scissors should have been found. After stabbing Mrs. Sterner with the scissors, Beverly pulled them out and threw them at the husband twice, both times they ended up sticking in the walls, and that is where the scissors would have been found when the police arrived.

Beverly ends up killing everyone her family has made a comment against. She ends up in trial but manages to seduce the only actual witness out of telling the truth about what he saw. As she becomes more popular, her kids begin to enjoy her fame and Chip ends up being her manager, casting Suzanne Sommers to play her in the movie about her life. The jury finds her not guilty and she is freed. As she is exiting the courtroom, she finds one of the jurors in a phone booth and kills her for wearing white shoes after labor day. After that she goes on to pose for pictures with Suzanne Sommers.
