Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Other mistake: During the credits, in the shot of the diner, the asian man sitting to the right glances right at the camera. (00:02:00)

Other mistake: At the beginning when you see outside the museum, there's a man in a red T-shirt looking at the camera. (00:28:45)

Other mistake: Jason seems to be able to teleport in this film. Most notably towards the end when Mr. McCulloch is running from him down an ally, Jason is behind him, then in a matter of seconds he's on the top floor of a building, without ever entering it, in time to throw McCulloch out the window.

Other mistake: When Jason is resurrected in the lake, the water is quite well lit, even though it's night and there aren't any real light sources to light the lake up. (00:06:00)

Other mistake: Rennie shouldn't have been able to get on the boat at all. Being high school students, they would need a permission slip signed by their legal guardian to board the ship, just like any field trip. And, it's obvious that Charles would not sign one allowing Rennie to board. He definitely voiced his objections to the female teacher. Rennie can't make that decision on her own as she did.

Suggested correction: It was a graduation field trip. They were no longer students. Therefore she didn't need permission.

Plot hole: Where exactly did all the other people go on the ship? In the beginning of the movie there were people everywhere then all of a sudden it's down to the main characters.

Trivia: In the original script, after making it to the docks, a dog would appear and start barking at Jason prompting Jason to kick it. Kane Hodder refused and even stated that as evil as Jason was, he'd never hurt an animal, so the scene was dropped.
