Other mistake: Sergeant Johnny Gallagher (Gene Hackman) and Lieutenant Milon Delich (Dennis Franz) are in a supposedly deserted building searching for a group of conspirators who plan to assassinate both the USA and USSR presidents. Delich finds a police colleague of his in the building, and Delich kills his colleague. When he fires his revolver, the sound of the blanks can be heard, slightly out of synch with the gun blasts on the sound track.
Other mistake: During the one game playoff against the Yankees, the runner Taylor picks off at first base has the same number as the batter who had just struck out. Also, the number they both wear has been long since retired by the Yankees and therefore no player could ever wear it again. Again, in the first game against the Yankees, the first base coach also has the same number, making it three Yankee players with the number 37.
Other mistake: When Joe Clark first comes to Eastside High as principal, he takes it upon himself to confront the staff. At one point, as he begins to turn his back, watch his lips. His mouth does not match the words being spoken.
Other mistake: Another note about Clark's falling through the ceiling and onto his son's bed: Take note of the shot of him in the attic after falling through the ceiling. He's standing on the upper bunk of the bed now, but from the shot in the attic, he's only down to his knees or so. Assuming his home's ceiling joists are 8 inches or so, then the mattress of the upper bunk would have to be no more than, say, 10 inches from the ceiling for that much of him to still be in the attic while standing on the bed. I've never seen a bunk bed whose upper bed gave you less than a foot of space between mattress and ceiling! (00:33:05)
Other mistake: In the scene where Biff confronts Marty outside the swinging doors while Marty is watching himself talk to his 1955 Mom and Dad, you can see that Crispin Glover (George McFly) has been replaced with Jeffrey Weissman. There are other scenes where you can tell it isn't him, but this is the most prominent one. Glover wasn't in the 2nd movie due to him and the producers not agreeing to a movie contract. All the scenes you see him clearly were taken from the first film. (i.e. where Marty is looking at him through the binoculars at the dance). (01:27:59)JamesP
Other mistake: At the Circle K when future Bill and Ted have finished talking to present Bill and Ted and go back into the phone booth, where are the other 5 historical figures? Especially as it is emphasized that they are all squished together, when they land you can see Beethoven, but he isn't there at the end when they leave.
Other mistake: When Ana's fiance lands to pick them up, the Cessna that he flew could only fit five people and that would be three people pushed together in the back. Also that particular plane can't take off in that short of a distance.
