Continuity mistake: Jason cut the phone line and leaves a deep gouge in the post but in the following shot the line is intact and the post has no gouge in it. (00:46:16)

Continuity mistake: The position of the Lemon Brus can beside Sissy's bed changes. In the first shot it's turned around backwards facing the box behind it so you can only read Lemo. In the next shot where Sissy grabs the can the label is facing the camera and you can read the entire label Lemon Lime Brus. (00:46:38)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: When Tommy and Megan get to the roadblock you briefly see the officers walking towards them pointing the flashlight towards them. When it cuts they are leaning against the hood of the police car and aren't aiming the flashlight at them. (00:48:05)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: In this scene where Jason grabs Sissy he grabs her by her shoulders, but the next shot when he pulls her out the window his left hand is on her neck and his right hand is between her legs. This was the only way Jason could pull her through the window without her lower body slamming into the window frame. (00:49:00)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: When Megan and Tommy drive up on the roadblock, Officers Pappas and Thornton chase after them. Notice the precipitation on the windshields of the police cars, and Megan's car. Seconds later when Officer Pappas is on the radio with the Sheriff, his windshield is dry, without any rain drops on it at all. (00:49:00)

Other mistake: The road block would have been visible to Megan before she turned her head and said "keep an eye out for road blocks". (00:50:00)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: The amount of blood on the machete and the position the little girl is holding it change as she shows it to Paula. (00:50:45)

Continuity mistake: There is shot of the car turning hard to the right that doesn't belong here. It's part the upcoming shot when Megan hooks the wheel and skids to a stop in front of her father. You can see the red light from her fathers police car on the front end and side as it turns. She is not on Cunningham road yet. Also, the driver of the car appears to be a man with a moustache wearing a blonde wig. (00:51:25)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: The headlights from the cop cars that were right on her tail are now gone and the road behind the car is dark when she hooks the right on Cunningham Rd. In one second the cops have fallen so far back it takes them more than ten seconds before they pull into frame. (00:51:52)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: When Jason enter Paula's cabin, we hear her screaming and then blood splats on the window. The amount of blood on the window differs in the next scene. (00:56:45)

Mortug

Revealing mistake: Near the end of the film, when Tommy and Megan are driving towards the camp, a shot is reused from the earlier police chase scene. You can tell by the reflection of the red police lights in the trees. (01:00:15)

Visible crew/equipment: When the sheriff shoots Jason with a shotgun you can see the cable pulling him back. (01:06:45)

Continuity mistake: The sheriff shoots Jason in the head with his revolver and makes a hole by Jason's right eye. Jason pulls Tommy underwater and begins to choke him and Tommy passes out. There is a close up of Jason's face and the bullet hole is now gone. When Megan tries to save Tommy she cuts Jason's throat with the boat propeller and the bullet hole is visible again on Jason's mask. (01:07:25 - 01:18:00)

Continuity mistake: When Tommy runs down to the boats he is carrying a sack with him. He almost loses the sack to the ground, but when it cuts he has his hands firmly around it again. (01:08:40)

Mortug

Revealing mistake: When the main girl finds the decapitated head in the car towards the end, you can see that it's just a doll. (01:09:55)

Continuity mistake: When Tommy is in the boat at the end, he pours gasoline on each side of the boat. He lights one side and both sides ignite, but how could this be if he didn't pour it all around the boat. Also, when he is fighting with Jason the ring of fire moves away from the boat. (01:14:05)

Audio problem: In the film Tommy is on a boat in the lake and Jason comes after him. Tommy opens up the gas can and spreads gas in the water around the boat and ignites it. When the gas ignites and the scenes following have the fire giving off a cracking sound (like wood burning), fuel burning on the water would not have that type of sound. (01:14:25)

Continuity mistake: When Megan dives into the lake her hair is in front of her face but in the very next shot it's combed back. (01:16:50)

Other mistake: In the final scene of the movie, Megan starts a boat motor and uses the propeller to hit Jason in the face, who has been chained down underwater. But if Jason can only barely reach her foot from underwater, there's no way the boat propeller is underwater far enough to reach his face. (01:17:50)

Suggested correction: The boat was driven a good ways, it's not like they were shallow and then all of a sudden deep. They were deep for a little bit. I mean not so deep like the ocean, but it was a good enough ways for someone to drown. Megan is tall for a girl and Jason is a big guy and the propeller is right at his head/neck.

You are very much mistaken. The boat propeller is too high to reach Jason's face.

Tommy: I went to go cremate Jason but I fucked up.
Deputy Rick: You got that right.

Chosen answer: He wasn't really angry, more like confused and annoyed at having paint shot at him.
