Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives

Plot hole: Katie calls out that the game is over and Stan and Larry protest because no-one has seen Roy. Roy is not on their team so Roy's status doesn't matter to them. He is on the yellow team with Katie, and they are the only ones left so the game is over. Katie's response doesn't make much sense either. It doesn't matter if Roy is still out there or if he shot himself or got lost. Roy is on her team so the game is over. (00:23:50)

Plot hole: How did Tommy get Jason's mask? I don't think the police would let him keep it as a souvenir.

Suggested correction: This is not the same mask from the previous movie.

Yes, it is. It even has the ax mark from the end of the third movie.

Jukka Nurmi

It is a very different mask. The only things that match are the shape and the axe wound. The color changed from yellow to almond. The straps changed and snap on buttons that attached the straps were replaced with rivets. The half missing large red chevron has been replaced with a red triangle. The two smaller triangles under the eyes are gone. All the damage and chipped paint from part 4 is missing. This mask has more in common with the mask in Tommy's dream in part 5. My opinion - Tommy made it.

Plot hole: When the sheriff and his deputy find the remains of Roy this is just a few yards away from Darren and Lizbeth's car. It's hard to believe that none of the five people in the paintball game came across the car or the bodies while they were all walking around.

Plot hole: After Jason is "shocked" back to life, Tommy gets into his grave and is trying to get the metal pole out of Jason. During this time, Jason is looking directly at Tommy while he's trying to get the pole out. And Tommy looks right at Jason a couple times, so he should know he's alive, But Tommy doesn't realize he's alive until he grabs him from behind.

Other mistake: In the final scene of the movie, Megan starts a boat motor and uses the propeller to hit Jason in the face, who has been chained down underwater. But if Jason can only barely reach her foot from underwater, there's no way the boat propeller is underwater far enough to reach his face. (01:17:50)

Suggested correction: The boat was driven a good ways, it's not like they were shallow and then all of a sudden deep. They were deep for a little bit. I mean not so deep like the ocean, but it was a good enough ways for someone to drown. Megan is tall for a girl and Jason is a big guy and the propeller is right at his head/neck.

You are very much mistaken. The boat propeller is too high to reach Jason's face.

Question: Why did Jason go into the children's cabin the first and second times? And why did he just draw close to Nancy when she saw him?

JohnShel91

Chosen answer: The first and second visits are unexplained. However he drew close to Nancy to install fear in her.

Ssiscool

Answer: Yes, I don't believe he was trying to scare her; I think he was just looking at her out of genuine curiosity.

Answer: In all his attacks he's never killed children, it's like he's never seen them before. Plus, it's almost he trying to recall memories of what he's looking at. "Where have I seen these little people before."

The children might possibly remind Jason of his own days at the camp when he was a child, before he drowned.
