Continuity mistake: After the Pyramid of Light has been destroyed, Anubis summons Theinen the Great Sphinx to the field. In the shot of him extending his hand just before the monster is summoned, his index finger and middle finger appear to be pointed upwards, while his two other fingers appear to be pointed downwards. In the next shot, all of his fingers are pointed downwards. (01:13:45)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi runs over to Kaiba to help him up, there is rubble on the ground about two feet away from his head. Then it cuts to a closer shot of Kaiba, where the rubble is much closer to his head. (01:16:41)
Continuity mistake: When Anubis blasts Kaiba's duel disk, both of his hands are not touching his body. In the next shot, his right hand is suddenly grasping onto his left arm. (01:17:43)
Continuity mistake: When Pegasus summons the two Toon monsters to stop the rubble from landing on them, he is shown holding the monster cards for those Toon monsters in his hand. In the shot of him saying "These Toon monsters won't last long", the card on the right is placed over the card on the left. In the next shot, the card on the left is placed over the card on the right. (01:18:30)
Continuity mistake: After Anubis is defeated, Pegasus says no one could return after suffering a defeat so heavily devastating as that. After saying this, he, Solomon and Yugi turn their heads to face Kaiba. In the next shot, the three of them are facing Kaiba directly without having to turn their heads. (01:21:15)
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba walks over to the main characters after Anubis is defeated, his right hand is holding onto bandages wrapped around his left arm. It then cuts to a closer shot of Kaiba where his hand has moved further up the bandages, and his finger can be seen holding onto part of his sleeve. (01:21:26)
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba and Mokuba leave after defeating Anubis, Pegasus can be seen standing slightly ahead of Solomon. When the shot cuts, Pegasus is standing behind Solomon. (01:21:47)
