Visible crew/equipment: When Wayne and Garth are playing street hockey, there are two cars that interrupt their game. Look in the reflection of the second car, you can see a very long boom mike.

Wayne's World (1992)
1 visible crew/equipment mistake - chronological order
Directed by: Penelope Spheeris
Starring: Rob Lowe, Mike Myers, Tia Carrere, Dana Carvey
Continuity mistake: When Wayne and Garth are on their way to the Alice Cooper concert they show the car from behind you can clearly see that Garth is driving and Wayne is in the passenger seat but when they cut back to the car from inside Wayne is driving and Garth is in the passenger seat. (00:56:50)
Wayne Campbell: No way!
Garth Algar: Way!
Trivia: The police officer in Stan Makita's Donut Shop is named Koharski, in reference to NHL Referee Don Koharksi. After poorly officiating game 3 of the 1988 playoff series between the Devils and Bruins, Devils coach Jim Shoenfeld and Koharsky argued on the way to the dressing rooms. Koharsky fell and told Shoenfeld he'd be suspended for pushing him, and that it was all on film. Shoenfeld said, "Good, cause you tripped and fell you fat pig, have another donut.". All this was shown on ESPN.

Answer: You presumably haven't seen Terminator 2. The actor playing the cop is Robert Patrick, who played the shape-shifting T-1000 in that movie, who masqueraded as a policeman for most of the film. The T-1000's mission was to track down and terminate a boy - hence the "have you seen this boy" line that he says to Wayne.
