Visible crew/equipment: When Eddie/Venom is sandwiched between two SUV's, the Symbiote takes over and makes them crash. You can see the hood of whatever vehicle the camera is in as it films the crash.
Suggested correction: After the crash of them going into the vehicles either side, you can see there is a third car in the exact spot as the camera car, so they could say it's the view from that car.
Continuity mistake: When Anne breaks up with Eddie on the sidewalk right after they get fired from their jobs, she approaches him and drops the box she is carrying. A ceramic mug falls out of the box. There is both visual and audible confirmation. After putting her ring in his shirt pocket, she bends to pick up the empty box and proceeds to walk away without also retrieving the missing contents. (00:14:45)
Venom: You come in here again, in fact, you go anywhere in this city preying on innocent people and we will find you and eat both your arms and then both of your legs and then we will eat your face right off your head. Do you understand?
Robber: Please.
Venom: Yes. So, you will be this armless, legless, faceless thing, won't you? Rolling down the street, like a turd in the wind. Do you feel me?
Robber: What the hell are you?
[Venom's face partially opens to reveal Eddie's face]
Eddie/Venom: We...are Venom.
[Venom's face fully reforms]
Venom: On second thought.
Robber: Please.
[Venom kills the robber].
Trivia: There is a post-credit scene that shows Cletus Kasady, aka Carnage, in San Quentin prison.
Question: When Eddie goes to see Dan about the test results, Dan says that the symbiote is damaging Eddie's organs but Venom says it's part of the symbiosis. Was Venom really damaging Eddie's body? If not, what was he really doing?
Answer: Venom was using Eddie, much like Riot, to invade Earth. Venom was damaging Eddie's body until he grew to like him, which is why he said he could fix it while Dan was telling Eddie all of this.
