0/10.Why do they keep giving sitcom people movie roles? The biggest problem was Lisa Kudrow.She seems to be forever channeling her Phoebe character from Friends in everything she does even if she tries to hide it.Frankly her one good role was an appearance or two on Angie Tribeca, funny cop satire show.Mira Sorvino also shows no life here either, playing the other ditz.The only other thing about her that can be said is when you're a lousy actor or actress, it pays to have a famous parent.The plot otherwise is two high school ditzes still acting ditzy at their high school reunion.
Continuity mistake: In the reunion scene Kristy Masters, the A group leader, is making the speech of where everyone has been for the last ten years. When they show Heather Moony, if you look closely at her dress it appears to be that she spilled her drink on her dress already, later after Kristy talks about the football player Heather drools on her dress and the earlier spot where she spilled has disappeared.(01:11:05)
Trivia: There are nods to the fictional brands Red Apple cigarettes and Big Kahuna burger used in Quentin Tarantino's films, because he was dating Mira Sorvino at the time.
Question: In one of the flashbacks, after Kristy put the magnets on Michele's back, why did she eat Romy's hamburger? This just struck me as odd since the "popular girls" in movies are usually portrayed as dieting often, and they usually don't eat the junk food that the non-popular characters eat.
Answer:She ate it because she's a bitch and wanted to hurt Romy. She didn't take it to eat for food.
Answer:It was a way of her showing Romy that being popular (in high school) comes with "power" over the less popular students and ability to do what she wants without fear of retribution. Conversely, in order to try to be liked by a popular student, a less popular student will yield to the popular student and/or give (let her have) anything she wants, including her lunch. [It doesn't always work this way.].
