Corrected entry: In the scene where Heather says that she invented cigarette paper that burns faster, she humiliates Michele by saying that she didn't invent Post-Its, Art Fry did. The true inventor of Post-Its was Dr. Spence Silver in 1968.

Correction: Art Fry did invent the Post-It Note, Spence Silver merely invented the adhesive on the back.

Since a Post-It Note without the adhesive is just a small piece of paper, Silver deserves the credit.

They're considered co-founders, however Silver accidentally created an adhesive that stuck lightly to surfaces and didn't bond to its surface. Fry had the idea how to use the adhesive and invented Post-it Notes.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Romy and Michele are arguing in the desert, when they get back into the car, it shows a close up shot that shows a large soda cup on the armrest between the seats. The shot changes to outside to show one girl struggling with the seatbelt and the other trying to start the car. Neither pick up the cup before the car peels out and takes off. Wouldn't the cup have been thrown into the back seat making a huge mess?

Correction: Cups can fit very snugly and stay put in well made cup holders.

Corrected entry: During the scene when Michelle is dreaming that she is at the reunion, she is hit by a limo. She rolls over the limo and ends up knocking the wing off of the trunk. A couple of scenes later when the two cars are driving off, the wing is back on. (00:52:05 - 00:57:05)

Correction: It's a dream sequence, anything can happen.

Corrected entry: When Michelle calls Romy in her dream 70 years later, when she is talking to Billy Jr. the doors to the room of the death bed are closed. When the scene changes and Romy starts complaining, the doors are open. (00:59:10)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Romy and Michele flash back to their prom, Toby walks up to Sandy Frank and Heather Mooney and asks who can name all the 50 state capitals. The first capital that Sandy names is Albuquerque, which is not the capital of any of the 50 states. Santa Fe is the capital of New Mexico. (00:20:00)

Correction: Perhaps Sandy just made a mistake.

Corrected entry: Isn't it weird that when Michelle dreams about the reunion she knows what everybody looks like?

Correction: WHen she dreams it she imagines everyone from when she last saw them- they all still look the same. In the non dream sequence for example, Billy is fatter, and the Fashion editor has a haircut ect..

Corrected entry: In Michele's dream when she and Romy win the awards, it comes as a surprise to everyone that there were two winners, but then why were there two medals already there?

Correction: It's a dream sequence, anything can happen.

Corrected entry: When Romy picks Michelle up after getting the car from Ramon, there is a big white box in the back seat. When they are driving along the highway, the box has disappeared.

Correction: After Romy gives Michelle the flip phone, she puts the box in the trunk.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Romy is working at the Jaguar dealership, Heather Mooney walks up to the counter and hands Romy her credit card. Romy swipes the card and then holds it up to read the name. You can see the back of the credit card , but there is no magnetic strip on it. (00:06:45)

Correction: Sometimes the magnetic strip can peel off. I know mine did once.

Corrected entry: Has anybody wondered how a cashier and an unemployed person can afford to live in a huge beach front apartment in Venice Beach? Seems a bit out of their price range.

Correction: Could it be possible that a parent could be paying for rent? You never know.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Romy reunites with Heather Moony, Heather tells Romy that she invented the cigarette which she is smoking and takes a puff to show how fast it burns down, and the cigarette burns to the butt. But in the next scene her cigarette is still to its half-way point. (00:07:25)

Romy: I've been killing myself for eight days and I gained a pound.

Trivia: In Michele's dream, when it is at the awards part, and Michele and Romy are going up to the state to get their medals, watch for when there is a long shot of the scene. Just above the awards stage, there are a carrot and banana, made out of balloons and obviously intended to be part of the decorations; exact replicas of the magnets Kristy stuck on Michele's back earlier. Maybe it's supposed to be a metaphor for revisiting the past - something that you normally do at a reunion.

More trivia for Romy and Michele's High School Reunion

Question: In one of the flashbacks, after Kristy put the magnets on Michele's back, why did she eat Romy's hamburger? This just struck me as odd since the "popular girls" in movies are usually portrayed as dieting often, and they usually don't eat the junk food that the non-popular characters eat.

Answer: She ate it because she's a bitch and wanted to hurt Romy. She didn't take it to eat for food.

Answer: It was a way of her showing Romy that being popular (in high school) comes with "power" over the less popular students and ability to do what she wants without fear of retribution. Conversely, in order to try to be liked by a popular student, a less popular student will yield to the popular student and/or give (let her have) anything she wants, including her lunch. [It doesn't always work this way.].
