Continuity mistake: When Seth Green is being pulled up the side of a radio control tower while in a truck, the rotating radio receiver which is pulling the truck upwards groans and fractures under the stress, but the rope is not taut and obviously not holding any weight. (00:32:35)
Continuity mistake: When Nick walks to Tracy to tell her his great comeback, she closes her book. In the next shot she has it opened at the same page as before, and then closes it again. (00:33:05)
Continuity mistake: When Kimberley says she need to go to the bathroom, the family drive past a restaurants' sign, but in the next shot if you look through the back window, the sign has vanished. (00:35:00)
Continuity mistake: At the start of the scene where the taxi driver leaves Owen out in the desert, in the first wide shot of them driving on the road, the road has no markings on it. In the next shot of inside the car, you can clearly see out the back window of the car that the road now has double yellows lines running across the middle of the road. (00:35:40)
Continuity mistake: When Randy asks the officer "how fast was I going," his seatbelt jumps from under to over his collar between shots. Again, when Kimberley is begging him to stop at the Barbie museum, the seatbelt repeatedly jumps from over to under his collar. (00:37:00 - 00:39:50)
Continuity mistake: When Kimberley spots the Barbie museum sign, the markings on the road change in every shot. Sometimes it’s a broken yellow line, sometimes it's double yellow lines, sometimes it's one whole yellow line and broken yellow line. (00:39:45)
Continuity mistake: Bev is ordering Randy to stop the car, but he won't, so she head-butts him. She is wearing a red jacket, however after she head-butts him, it goes to a wider shot outside of the car, but through the car windshield you can see she or, her stunt double, has a blue denim jacket on now. Continuity mistake: When Tracy is flying over Sean's house in the helicopter, the long green hose on Sean's lawn changes position between shots, and in one shot you can see one of the patio chairs has fallen over, but it's back upright in the next shot. (00:43:45)
Continuity mistake: When Tracy is damaging Sean's truck, she throws a fire extinguisher, a wrench and then she throws a crowbar. As the crowbar hits the truck, you can see a spanner lying on the pavement - she never threw a spanner though. (00:44:50)
Continuity mistake: When Tracy is in the helicopter, chasing Sean who's in the truck, look at the chopper's back wings/fins. The bottom one is very short, however during the chase after Tracy yells "I want my five bucks back," the back of the chopper lowers down, and the back bottom wing/fin hits the road - only in this shot it is much longer than it is in all the other shots. Continuity mistake: When Tracy visits her boyfriend in the helicopter, she starts to throw random objects at his truck. Watch her first throw where she cracks the back window, you'll notice that the front bonnet is dented although nothing has hit the bonnet yet. If you believe something might have been thrown before that, when she throws the second and third object there is no dent where that one was. (00:46:25)
Continuity mistake: In the helicopter chase scene you can clearly see that the metallic pickup truck had suffered serious grille and bumper damage, but in the scene when they arrived at the service station the front appears to be undamaged. (00:47:00 - 01:15:45)
Continuity mistake: When the kids are crowded around Enrico, watching him sleep, the crowd changes position. (00:50:30)
Continuity mistake: When Duane is about to give Blaine his key, he realises it's a fake and he then lifts the other key up, and this on has a chain on it (I think it's the tracker device, which means they still have the key that the key-cutter stole), but in the next closeup the chain has gone from the key. Continuity mistake: When Duane and Blaine see the keycutter drive off Blaine cries "There he is!" In the first shot Blaine' hands are down. But in the next shot they are up. (00:52:30)
Continuity mistake: As Vera and Merrill drive down the road and then turn right, down the shortcut just past the yellow sign with the graffiti on it, there is no front licence plate on the car. However, as the car rolls down the hill, there is a white plate fixed on. (00:52:45)

Continuity mistake: After Randy gets lipstick on his hand, he smears it on the steering wheel. But when the bikers are attacking them, smashing the car up, in many shots you can see the steering wheel has no lipstick on it. It returns later, when it gives Randy a moustache. (00:56:25 - 01:08:10)
