Rat Race

Other mistake: After the woman falls down the stairs, the lawyer asked what happened and a lady says she "tripped over that glass." How could she have seen this if she was down at the bottom of the stairs? (00:07:00)

Hamster

Other mistake: In the field, as Duane is flying into the cows, one of the cows jumps "up" before Duane even hits it. (01:01:35)

Hamster

Other mistake: When Blaine is on the hood of the cruise-controlled car, you can clearly see it's headed straight for thr oasis, however in the next closeup, the car smashes into a group of rocks, which were well off to the right of the screen. (01:02:55)

Hamster

Other mistake: When Seth Green falls into a desert oasis, he causes a huge splash, but in the next closeup there's only a few ripples around him. (01:05:25)

Other mistake: When Owen is removing his clothes saying he isn't a bus driver, the chinese Lucy is looking away and covering her eyes. In the next shot she is looking again and then covers her eyes again. (01:23:20)

Other mistake: When everyone is on the road leading to Silver City, near the end, about four of them are behind one another on the road. When it cuts to the radar owned by Sinclair, it shows all of the dots (which represent the people) all spread out around the big star which is train station, when in fact the dots should all be in a line behind each other, just like they are in the cars. (01:26:35)

Other mistake: When Rowan Atkinson is riding in the train, near the end of the film, he is looking out the window. He is looking forward, then quickly looks backwards. He does this several times in a row, as if trying to see things quickly as the train passes them. But, when the camera pulls back, Rowan's back is facing the direction the train is moving, thus he was looking the wrong way! You can tell by the way the scenery is moving as you look through the window. (01:28:05)

Other mistake: The bus driver (Marty) was a pretty large guy, so how come when Owen is wearing his clothes, they fit perfectly? Surely they would have been baggy?

Other mistake: When Hitler's car is getting destroyed, the shot of the muffler falling off the truck is the exact same shot used for when Rowan Atkinson and Wayne Knight were in the van. This is most notable because the bikes disappear and the car isn't even Hitler's car, it's a white van.

Other mistake: When Tracey is going crazy in the helicopter, she shouts, 'I'll ram this helicopter right down your throat', but on the subtitles it says, 'I'll ram this mother f**ker right down your throat'.

Question: What happened with the key that the brothers were trying to copy. How did they know that the guy made a copy for himself?

Answer: They only had blanks - the non-cut keys that are used to make keys. So when they saw those, they knew that the guy had their key.
