Continuity mistake: When Gale and Katniss are talking atop the hill about how they should have left earlier, Katniss removes her hand from Gale's neck/face. The camera cuts to the other side and her hand is back there. (00:47:30)
Continuity mistake: Just after the Quarter Quells announcement we see Katniss go to Haymitch who is drinking from a bottle. The bottle is up by his mouth, camera cuts and now it's resting on the arm of the chair. (00:45:50)
Continuity mistake: When President Snow is giving his speech about the Quarter Quells, his rose goes from open to closed depending on the shot. (00:44:00)
Continuity mistake: Just as President Snow starts to give his speech we see Prim, Katniss and Mrs. Everdeane sat on the sofa. Mrs. Everdeane has her legs crossed in one shot and side by side in the next. (00:43:45)
Continuity mistake: The new head peacekeeper for District 12 draws his nightstick to attack the woman on the ground. Gale runs towards him, it cuts back and he draws his nightstick again. (00:36:10)
Continuity mistake: When the peacekeepers are placing the structure in the square, there is a camera cut and all the peacekeepers' positions have changed. (00:35:20)
Continuity mistake: Effie motions Katniss down the steps of her house and her arms are outspread. Camera cuts to a view in front of Katniss and Effie now has her hands on Katniss' back. (00:12:20)
Continuity mistake: When talking with president Snow at the victors village, There is one lock of hair by Katniss' right eye that is constantly moving despite no-one touching it. (00:08:50)
Continuity mistake: At the start when Katniss tells Haymitch to take a bath, he is holding the bottle of alcohol at and angle close to his chin. Camera cuts and now the bottle is at an angle the opposite way and further from his chin. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: Katniss hammers the spiel into the tree completely level. When the water starts flowing, the whole thing is pointed downwards, not just the end. (01:29:20)
Continuity mistake: Mrs Everdeane puts the bottle of alcohol down on the table and the bottle is empty by the sound it makes, and the absence of any evidence of liquid moving in the bottle. H then picks it up and now there is liquid in the bottle. (00:39:30)
Other mistake: When Cinna is attacked before Katniss is lifted into the arena, she screams out "Peeta!" two separate times, instead of "Cinna!"
Continuity mistake: When Joanna hands Katniss a drink on the beach, Joanna has sand on her knee protectors. When the camera changes, she doesn't. (01:53:05)
Continuity mistake: When we see Finnick on the beach standing off against the monkeys we see he has his spear lowered in the long shots and raised in the close ups. (01:41:20)
Continuity mistake: When Cesar is introducing the show on the eve of the games, he says "And unfortunately..." and raises a pointed finger above his shoulder level, then says."say good bye to all but one" however the camera has changed angle and his hand should be visible but is not. (01:06:40)
Continuity mistake: When Peeta is given the pink drink at the mansion, he is holding the glass by the stem, camera changes to a long shot and he's now holding the glass much higher. (00:27:15)
Continuity mistake: When Katniss is stood in the square, and Haymitch is talking to the peacekeeper, her hair is either in her face or not depending on the shot. (00:37:50)
Continuity mistake: When the group stumbles across the spile Haymitch had given them, Katniss opens up the container it was in and reads the "Drink up" note inside it. Katniss then places the note back on the container, but by the next shot, as she goes to put the container on the floor, the note has vanished. (01:32:40)
Audio problem: When President Snow is having lunch with his granddaughter, Snow asks her when she started wearing her hair differently, and she replies. After Snow finishes this line, his granddaughter's jaw begins to mouth the word movements before she actually begins to speak. (00:24:45)
Continuity mistake: When unwinding the spool of wire it gets snagged by something. When it does we see the spool which shows the wire to be messy and uneven on the spool. Camera cuts and now the wire is neatly on the spool, with the wire being evenly distributed. (02:00:50)
