Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall at Pee Wee's Pawn Shop advanced from about 12:00 to 12:05 when Frank was talking to Jerry, but it was back to around 12:01 after a few camera shifts. (00:05:59 - 00:06:24)
Deliberate mistake: The number of clicks (sounds) Christine made on the "text to talk" device did not match the total characters she typed. With few exceptions, there were a lot less clicks/sounds than there should have been based on the amount of letters/words she typed. (00:06:40 - 00:15:30)
Continuity mistake: The amount of wine in Annie's glass (as well as Nic's) decreases then increases without her adding any. Annie had almost one-half a glass of wine when she poured some into Nic's glass, then it was closer to one-fourth full. A little later, Annie's glass appeared to have the amount she initially had when she approached Nic. (00:13:59)
Character mistake: Captor put a bomb under Orlando's desk chair and told him to hack into the bank and transfer $2 million into an account. Orlando responded, "If I get caught, I'm facing 20 [years in prison]." Captor's death threats to Orlando and his family members plus the actual bomb under Orlando's chair are more than enough proof of duress or coercion - legal defenses to engaging in a crime. Orlando would not be facing any prison time or criminal penalties after a legal defense was successfully raised. (00:20:07 - 00:23:20)
Factual error: Rose's legs were paralyzed, but when she was dragging herself on the floor, she occasionally used her feet to help propel her body forward (and moved her feet downward) - something she would not be able to do if her legs were paralyzed. (00:33:40)
Continuity mistake: At the start, a door opens up to reveal Jack standing there before going down a hallway. In this first shot, he is not wearing the ceremonial ribbon thing around his neck but rather holding it in his hand. Then suddenly it appears already around his neck in the next shot of him from behind and then visible from the front. It's a little more visible or evidently missing in the colour version of the film. (00:02:21)
Continuity mistake: The orange feather toy that was in the cat bed with the cat when Sam got to the bookstore was not there a couple camera shifts later. (00:25:33 - 00:26:25)
Other mistake: The GPS voice said, "Your destination is on your left", but Kath kept driving (slowly) on the dirt road and did not reach the cabin for over 30 seconds (longer than would be expected). A GPS system typically announces how many feet until you reach your destination, plus "You have reached your destination" after traveling that number of feet. (00:05:00 - 00:05:38)
Revealing mistake: Jimmy's [Matthew Lawrence] glass of cola on the table is filled to a level slightly above the groove (mortar joint) in the cement block wall. The next front view shows the top of Jimmy's glass slightly above the same groove and the level of cola is about 2" below the groove. A little later, the level of cola in the glass is like it was earlier - slightly above the groove. A cement block wall is stationary and nobody raised or lowered the table; use of a green screen can explain the anomaly. (00:08:05 - 00:08:41)
Continuity mistake: While driving to Harper's house, Jordan did not have the sun visor down, but it was down when she was backing up after she passed Harper's house, #237. The sun visor was not down when Jordan was going down the driveway to the house. (00:17:15)
Continuity mistake: The position of Esther's bag on her bed changed, going from a few inches away from the foot of the bed to one corner of the bag almost touching the end of the bed. (00:29:30)
Continuity mistake: The positions of the two black SUVs relative to the driveway and garage are different when Justin is reviewing the recording and looks at images from opposite sides. In the first view, the SUVs are not pulled up close to the garage doors; the garage is at least a car's length away because it is not visible to the left of the screen. In the second (opposite) view, the SUVs are parked close to the garage and the SUV that is supposed to be parked near the corner of the driveway is further away. (00:25:30)
Continuity mistake: The protagonist is puzzled by the sight of many people looking at the sky. When she decides to pull over and figure out the reason, the kids that were playing soccer in the lawn have changed position between shots. A much bigger inconsistency happens a minute later, when the eclipse obscures the sky (with a rather lo-tech effect that borders on being a revealing mistake itself), the kids have stopped playing ball, but in a longshot they are still shown playing. Revealing mistake: The 50 dollar bills that appear in the opening credits all have the same serial number (and you can find online the texture they used with great ease, just like the one for the 20 dollar bills stack). (00:03:45)
Other mistake: When Tess says good night to Keith, the lights in the bedroom are on, but the switch is down (off position) but when she wakes up in the middle of the night, the lights are off and the switch is still down. We see a lamp on the same side as the switch but even if she turned it off manually, being plugged into that AC outlet would mean the lamp would probably be off based on the switch. If the switch was up in both shots, it would be different.
Revealing mistake: The views to the right and left of the truck on the road did not flow in the manner expected if they were actually there (as opposed to using a green screen). Also, as soon as a "stop" sign could be seen to the right, the camera shifted to the driver, who kept driving as though the stop sign was not there. The structures to the right of the truck were blue but became white when the camera shifted to a front view (not using a green screen). (00:01:20)
Continuity mistake: While the 2 main characters are playing pool the balls keep changing position and so does the cue chalk. (00:14:00 - 00:17:00)
Other mistake: This TV-movie is set in 1934. At the county fair where a pie judging contest is about to take place, a sign reads, "Entrants...Please leave your name on the pie." The sign uses a computer-printed font.
Continuity mistake: The monkey figurines (or charms) on the beads hanging from the rearview mirror change positions from being more horizontal (side-by-side) to vertical (one below the other, and at different distances). Swaying from the SUV's movement might explain some change, but the weight of the monkeys should have kept their positions more balanced (side-by-side or one at the top and the other at the bottom). Continuity mistake: Francis pistol-whipped Leonard and - although there initially was no red mark - a red mark could be seen when Leonard attended to Richie's wound. Not long afterwards, the red mark was gone (but should have still been there). (00:21:35 - 00:35:06)
