Character mistake: After Dimitri put Leena's wrist bands on for her (through the door slot), Leena said, "I want to do something nice for you; you can come in." Dimitri agreed, and Leena pulled up a chair to stand on (to be his height) and caress his face/ hair. When Leena bent in to kiss him, she banged his head against the wall several times, killing him. As a "Saarne Instituute" security member, Dimitri should know not to get sexually involved with or trust a patient, especially the most dangerous one. (00:10:29 - 00:11:29)
Continuity mistake: The detective put an ice cube in his glass, poured alcohol to about half-full, and squeezed in a little lemon juice. He took a sip while walking to his desk. When he set the glass down, the glass was filled to a higher level (about two-thirds full). (00:52:40)
Continuity mistake: Esther (Leena) was wearing white ribbons in her hair when she went to and returned from Dr. Segar's office. When her dad took her inside to go to his studio, Esther was wearing blue ribbons in her hair and had on different clothes. Esther did tell her dad that her dress was ripped, but the flow from outside to the studio did not give the impression that they stopped somewhere in the house for Esther to change before going to the studio. Revealing mistake: The front and rear views of the house did not seem to properly fit together. The rear view showed more sections, making the house longer than what the front indicated and had three high chimneys compared to only one from the front. The rear view also showed several trees that would be aligned in front of the house, but the trees did not appear to be situated that way. (00:27:49 - 00:29:52)
Continuity mistake: The boy seated in Dr. Segar's waiting room had about 1.5" bangs, but when he was peeking in the door to see what Esther was doing, his bangs were much shorter (maybe 0.5"). A little later, the boy's bangs were back to their earlier length. (00:31:58 - 00:32:47)
Continuity mistake: The position of Esther's bag on her bed changed, going from a few inches away from the foot of the bed to one corner of the bag almost touching the end of the bed. (00:29:30)
