Continuity mistake: When Dave and Meg are at the park/campus talking and come across a sculptor, they begin to talk while stopped, watching. Several times Meg's head changes from looking at Dave to watching the sculptor between shots.
Continuity mistake: At night, as Claudia gets into bed with Rory, we see her bare back across the shoulder blades, and no evidence of shoulder straps. In the morning she awakens with surprise at Rory's absence, and she is wearing a top that would have been visible if she'd worn it in the night scene. (01:31:13 - 01:33:00)
Continuity mistake: Valeria went to the first meeting with Alberto Rak at his place. In the following scene her mother Amalia enters her apartment bringing breakfast. Between takes Laura Morante picked up the tray from opposite directions, since the coffee cup switched from left to right during her walk from one end of the corridor to the other. (00:10:50)
Continuity mistake: Whilst driving back after meeting with Paul Castellano, Gotti has his hand on the driver seat headrest in some shots, but in others his hand is on the seat. (00:35:05)
Factual error: An ambulance is shown. This movie is supposed to take place in a latin country. But the ambulance says "Ambulance" in English, and worse, it also says "Riverside County." Also, the red cross emblems on the attendants' backs say "Comite" in Spanish, "International" in English, and "Geneve" in French. (00:28:55)
Continuity mistake: Ron Perlman and Famke Janssen are having dinner on his supposed birthday. The whole meal has several continuity errors, with her fork being at different heights, sometimes replaced by the wine glass, etc. (00:34:30)
Other mistake: During the murder in the stairwell, an old woman opens her apartment door outward, and Varg kicks it shut. Apartment doors always open inward, as did Euronymous' apartment in the same building.
Suggested correction: Euronymous' apartment door opens outward into the hallway, at least in the final scene it does when he's trying to get away from Varg.
Continuity mistake: In her temper tantrum, the Empress throws various dishes and cups to the ground. In her messy motion though, some items do not fly off the table and a golden fruit bowl happens to just spin around and stay on. It is gone next. (00:02:45)
Continuity mistake: After Elisabeth leaves the doctor's office, the doctor resumes speaking with Elisabeth's mother and sister. Whilst the doctor says "As schizophrenia is a hereditary condition", the sister is looking at the mother. When the shot cuts, she is now looking at the doctor. (00:15:13)
Continuity mistake: When Willy is in bed looking at photos with the camera behind his ear, his cup of coffee is directly in front of his hands. A moment later when the camera shifts to in front of him, his coffee is way off to his side, nowhere near his line of sight. (01:00:12)
Other mistake: During the bank robbers' drive to the meeting spot, the background was blurred, but it is obvious the green color was from the tree leaves. As they got closer and arrived, the numerous trees were bare of leaves - only branches could be seen. The apparent attempt to have all trees appear to be bare (and consistent) was all for naught - It was April 8th in Georgia where the trees would have already blossomed. (00:02:24)

Revealing mistake: The bottom third of the left-hand side of the screen is a "filler." At the top part of the left-hand side, there's a bicycle hanging on the wall, a square wall shelf, and a 3-Light Tree Floor Lamp. About two-thirds of the way down the wall, there's an inverted image of the items at the top - the angled edge of the wall (which does not line up with the rest of the wall because it's inverted), half of a bicycle wheel, the square wall shelf, and 3-lights of the floor lamp at the bottom of the pole. Factual error: The movie is set in Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) in 1825. Throughout the movie, in scenes where Clare talks to the aboriginal tracker, Billy, subtitles state that they are speaking in Palawa Kani. Palawa kani was developed in the 1990s by the language program of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, more than 165 years after the movie.
Continuity mistake: There are several variations or inconsistencies in Marcus' hair and tie from the time he goes through the metal detector and sits in the courtroom. His hair was consistently "messy", but disheveled right and/or left sides were inconsistent. The tie was fairly snug against his collar at first, but got looser then tighter. (00:54:14 - 00:57:08)
Plot hole: *SPOILER* Calvin's twin sister and mother were killed years earlier in an automobile accident. Calvin kept going to his doctor with "new symptoms", insisting there was something physically wrong. Dr. Collins told Calvin, "Your health issues aren't physical. I thought sending you to that support group would give you a better perspective." The doctor should have referred Calvin to a psychiatrist for a diagnosis and, if appropriate, the psychiatrist would recommend therapy or a support group. (00:10:15)
Continuity mistake: Constance is hugging Mary. In the close up shot, Constance is wearing a round sky blue earring. In the long shot, the earring is not seen even though her ear is fully facing the camera. (00:27:45)
Continuity mistake: When Vera is in David's office, after she says "Gloria is our daughter", the shot cuts to David for a brief moment. The shot then cuts to Vera and her left hand is suddenly touching the side of her head, which she was not doing in the previous shot. (00:37:45)
