Factual error: The movie is set in Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) in 1825. Throughout the movie, in scenes where Clare talks to the aboriginal tracker, Billy, subtitles state that they are speaking in Palawa Kani. Palawa kani was developed in the 1990s by the language program of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, more than 165 years after the movie.

Revealing mistake: The bottom third of the left-hand side of the screen is a "filler." At the top part of the left-hand side, there's a bicycle hanging on the wall, a square wall shelf, and a 3-Light Tree Floor Lamp. About two-thirds of the way down the wall, there's an inverted image of the items at the top - the angled edge of the wall (which does not line up with the rest of the wall because it's inverted), half of a bicycle wheel, the square wall shelf, and 3-lights of the floor lamp at the bottom of the pole. Continuity mistake: When Lukas is looking in the bathroom mirror, the upper half of his laceration looks about three times the width of the lower half. When he exits the bathroom, the laceration looks like one line with the same width. (00:15:45)
Other mistake: During the bank robbers' drive to the meeting spot, the background was blurred, but it is obvious the green color was from the tree leaves. As they got closer and arrived, the numerous trees were bare of leaves - only branches could be seen. Revealing mistake: After Frank shoots Kevin and Kevin's SUV hits the curb, the background/scenery changes as well as the position of Frank's car. Frank initially pulls along the curb (behind the SUV) with his car at about a 30° angle. The next time Frank's car is shown, it is almost perpendicular to the curb and the Food Mart. When Rupple and Frank have their guns aimed, they would be aiming inside the Mart, not toward Kevin. Objects in the background also change (e.g, fire hydrant, telephone pole appear). (00:16:48)
Continuity mistake: When young Tiffany is eating ice cream at a restaurant, the amount of ice cream left in the clear glass bowl increases after she eats more. There are different ways to measure social class, but there are similarities. Bobby's more affluent family (father M.D.; mother attorney) would be "upper-middle." "Eddy's father was a teacher. Middle-class" would be "lower-middle." "My family had a little store...more blue-collar" would be lower - or upper-middle depending on income. All three families were middle class. (00:20:30)
Suggested correction: Nothing in your entry indicates a mistake. "More affluent" doesn't mean upper-middle class. And a teacher wouldn't necessarily be lower-middle class. Revealing mistake: The tapered half of the baseball bat was leaning against the coffee table at about a 60° angle, but after Dave said, "The bat?" the camera showed it sticking straight up from (perpendicular to) the floor. Dave's lower body is then shown walking past the bat (which reaches to his waist) and stopping, at which point the bat fades into his leg until it is almost invisible. Calvin kept going to his doctor with "new symptoms", insisting there was something physically wrong. Dr. Collins told Calvin, "Your health issues aren't physical. I thought sending you to that support group would give you a better perspective." The doctor should have referred Calvin to a psychiatrist for a diagnosis and, if appropriate, the psychiatrist would recommend therapy or a support group. (00:10:15)
