Better Call Saul picture

Sabrosito - S3-E4

Corrected entry: When Mike is watching the DEA raid the ice cream shop, a Ford Crown Victoria P71 for the Albuquerque Police Department is shown. These models were not in use until 2004, a few years after when the show is set. In 2002, APD was still using Chevrolet Caprices.

Correction: APD had been using Crown Victorias since 2000. By 2002, the department had nearly phased out the Chevy Caprices.

Correction: 01 was the geographical area code for London at the time.

Correction: I grew up in London in the 1970's... the dialling code for London was 01... this was later changed to 071 for inner London and 081 for outer London. The 01 numbers are completely correct.

The Man in the High Castle picture

Show generally

Corrected entry: It is stated that Nazi Germany and Japan had invaded the US and successfully occupied nearly the entire country in a little under 2 years (December 1945 to September 1947). There is no way either nation could have successfully invaded, much less occupy the US in that manner. Even with a weakened US, both Japan and Germany still would have to navigate across entire oceans, which neither country had a large enough Naval force to do so (Germany had a hard time fighting England, which was a mere 20 miles off coast of mainland Europe). Also, both countries would be dedicating limited resources to occupying other nations and fighting fierce resistance in those lands (the Soviet Union would take years to subdue for both Germany and Japan). Even if the Axis was able to successfully crush resistance in Europe and in Asia, they would need to wait a minimum of 20 years before developing enough naval capability to launch a successful invasion of the US.

Correction: The history of The Man in the High Castle changed more than 10 years before the invasion of the USA. In that time there were significant changes to the positions of the nations involved. The USA had a continued Great Depression, weakening its position significantly. This would make the country unable to offer any assistance to its allies during the early stages of the war, with the country becoming increasingly isolated. The Japanese Empire and Axis Powers both had significant successes in the war. This led to strengthened positions for both, invading a weakened and isolated nation. Additionally, you cannot simply claim it would take 20 years to be in a position to invade the USA. You have no evidence for this "fact", especially in such a different world to our own.

It doesn't matter if the events are altered ten years before. The Axis still had the British Empire and Soviet Union to deal with and even without US aid, they would still be tough countries to fight. Most Historians agree that even if the point of divergence had occurred as it did in this world, Japan and Germany wouldn't just magically be stronger and conquer the world. Japan had finite resources and Germany would still have to fight both the British and Soviets. Even if Hitler had somehow conquered Russia, the resistance and guerrilla warfare would be fierce and would require years, if not decades, to crush. And neither country had the manpower to invade the US, a country separated from each nation by an entire ocean. Both countries would be stretching their armies and resources way too thin with land they already conquered. Neither nation even had the minimum number of soldiers it would take to land an invasion much less a successful occupation. Especially in a country as big as the US where every other American owned a gun.

Nazis had nukes, the US did not, Nazis nuked New York, the US surrendered.

Lucifer picture

The Sin Bin - S3-E10

Corrected entry: Lucifer is speaking with Maze and tells her if he kills The Sinnerman he will lose his wings again and recover his devil face. He already had his devil face back in the episode when Linda's husband found out he was the devil.

Correction: That episode starts in the past, before Lucifer lost his face - her husband then spends a long time researching Lucifer, bringing us up to the present day.

Olympics - S2-E1

Corrected entry: Cheyenne is still pregnant in season 2 episode 1, but she gave birth in the last episode of season 1.

Correction: That was intentional. The episode is not meant to be continuous from the end of season 1. It is a stand-alone episode that takes place at some point before the walk-out. It was even aired during the break between season 1 and 2.

Daredevil picture

.380 - S2-E11

Corrected entry: When Castle and Karen are in the diner, the waitress comes to refill their coffee, and when she asks if there's anything else, Castle tells her "Ya know, I'm gonna need about as much black coffee as this place'll pump out, so just keep it comin'." The pot that she's filling their cups with is orange, which, in diners all over, is the decaf pot. Not the one you'd use for a customer who ordered black coffee. (00:19:50)

Captain Defenestrator

Correction: Just because it's orange doesn't mean for sure that it's decaf. The regular pot could have broken and they are using a spare orange one for now. Could also easily have been a simple mistake on the part of the diner, using the incorrect pot and not switching it out to avoid washing an extra dish.

Betrayed - S1-E6

Corrected entry: In the garage scene with Piper and Will, the killer stabs Will and Piper falls on the ground, but we find out the killer is Piper, so whoever stabs Will isn't the actual killer.

Kaleb Chancellor

Correction: This is not a mistake. Yes we later find out that Piper is the killer, but we also find out the following season that she had an accomplice in Kieran. Therefore, the person who attacks Piper and Will is Kieran.

Badge! Gun! - S1-E2

Corrected entry: While under NZT influence he is working ambidextrously on a blackboard drawing a portrait with his right hand and solving an equation with his left. Even my 11-year-old niece (who didn't watch but was told the situation) knew right brain=artistic and creative=left hand, left brain=logical and problem-solving=right hand.

Correction: The left brain/right brain idea is a myth, not actually backed up by the science: http://www.livescience.com/39373-left-brain-right-brain-myth.html. Regardless, the whole point of NZT is that it allows you to perfectly use every aspect of your brain simultaneously, so even if the left/right part were true, this shot only serves to demonstrate how effective NZT is at removing those limitations.

Blindspot picture

Pilot - S1-E1

Corrected entry: Near the end, the man, who we believe is behind Jane's predicament, walks into Chao's private room - where are the police guarding him - wearing scrubs, a doctor's white coat and a surgical mask. First off, doctors wear scrubs or a white coat, not both together, and they only wear surgical masks in theatre, nowhere else.

kh1616

Correction: The man who takes him isn't a doctor, he's trying to pretend to be one. He wears the mask to cover his face from the camera. The police simply don't know these "rules" that doctors don't wear lab coats and scrubs together and simply don't think it's weird he's wearing a mask.

Correction: Magnetic clip-on earrings exist, and can make the sort of dents in her ears which these seem to, due to the strength of magnet involved. Adult Kara also has the same earrings, as seen in the "previously on..." segment.

Jessica Jones picture

AKA Sin Bin - S1-E9

Corrected entry: When Kilgrave makes his mother stab herself, Jessica pushes the button to electrocute him immediately but it does not work. She then rushes to the doors to get in there but it's too late, however Trish soon shoots the glass in two shots and it breaks. We all know Jessica can punch through walls and even steel so why didn't she immediately one punch the glass and stop Kilgrave from killing his mom?

Kil la Kobra

Correction: Jessica wanted the cell to remain intact so that she could keep Kilgrave locked up. She had already stated she did not want him dead until she could get Hope released from prison. Trish acted more impulsively, attempting to kill him.
