Continuity mistake: After meeting Elise on the bus and getting his Blackberry dumped into his coffee David Norris calls his friend Charlie with his "spare phone" (silver). But after a cut or two you can see that he uses his BlackBerry again. So he has changed the phone during the conversation AND his coffee BlackBerry seems to be working again. (00:19:20 - 00:20:10)
Revealing mistake: At the start, just as Moreau rides up the stone road leading to the monastery up ahead, before he passes the two guards we can see that it's a flipped shot - note the backwards license plate number.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Danny and Hunter try to escape, Hunter grabs his wrist watch back from an enemy and drops it in his left pocket. He has no watch on his either of his wrists, yet in the next shot, his watch suddenly appears on his left wrist. (00:14:55)
Continuity mistake: When Jay slaps Si in the balls, his right hand is holding on to his bag, camera cuts and it's down by his side. Camera cuts again and it's back on his bag. (00:08:10)
Other mistake: Shortly after Billy Beane arrives for the 20th consecutive win game, Raul Ibanez is announced as the batter despite being on second base at the time.
Factual error: George Smiley stays in a hotel near Liverpool St Station, London to investigate the spy at the heart of the circus. There is one scene where we see, from above, a train leaving the station. Liverpool St station is electrified using overhead wires - the train is leaving a station using a different electrification system called 3rd rail which has never existed at Liverpool St.
Continuity mistake: When the bird first hits the RV, a blood stain is visible on the windshield. But on the exterior shot of the RV as it stops, the blood has disappeared. (00:26:50)
Continuity mistake: The false bottom of the locked desk drawer goes from being a solid piece when Elizabeth Halsey accesses it to a bottom that splits in half when the K9 officer accesses it.
Continuity mistake: When Rango was at the mayor's office, the mayor grabs out a jug of water, and he opens the lid. But in the next shot, the lid is sealed again.
Continuity mistake: There is a scene where Hugo is on the station and sees a key down on the tracks. There are two separate shots of the key and both times it is buried in the stones next to a sleeper. Then Hugo jumps down onto the tracks to pick it up and its now sat on the middle of the sleeper when he picks it up. (01:22:30 - 01:23:10)
Continuity mistake: When the guys take off to Bangkok on their direct flight, the plane is a 4 engine jet. When they land, it's a 2 engine jet.
Factual error: Passiflora Incarnata doesn't cause the symptoms described in the film. There was one remote incident where some of the symptoms (nausea) occurred but it can only happen if ingested which did not happen in this movie.
Factual error: Major Stewart addresses the Indian NCO as "Sergeant Major" and he is so described in the credits. There was no such rank in the British Indian Army. Indian cavalry sergeants were known as Daffadars. More senior Indian cavalry officers held VCO ranks (Jemadar, Risaldar and Risaldar Major) which had no British equivalent. Given the importance of rank and protocol, it is highly unlikely that a British commissioned officer would be unaware of this.
Continuity mistake: After Slide locks Josh's boss in the master bedroom closet within Mr. Fitzhugh's ex-apartment, he turns on the boombox at a high volume. Then later in the film, when they are retrieving the car through the window of the same apartment, the music is off. Then later, Josh's boss is seen trying to get out of the closet and the music is back on. (01:08:20 - 01:19:55)
Continuity mistake: In the scene on the Golden Gate Bridge when the apes are pushing the bus, the police shoot the bus numerous times, but when the camera goes off the bus and then shows the bus again (twice) the bullet holes are not there anymore.
Continuity mistake: At the campground, when Hanna and Sophie are under the blankets together, each girl is shown throughout the conversation laying on her left side. If this were actually the case, they would both be facing the same direction, not facing each other. (01:00:45 - 01:03:30)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the first film Mumble has lost most of his down, because his bow tie has yellow markings, however in the second movie he has somehow grown his down back.
Plot hole: Everybody jumps into the water and emerges on the submarine except for Natalie. They're wondering where she is when they notice a flare. They realise it's her, and they send a search party. She's hiding on a bus maybe one to two kilometres away from the water. Her going there makes no plausible sense. Makes no sense how she held her breath underwater longer than anybody that they didn't see her and why she would go in the opposite direction of the sub. It was done to prolong the scene. Continuity mistake: When EB is young and is in the factory for the first time, he picks up some sweets off the factory line. The amount of sweets in his hand then changes between shots.
Factual error: Upon hearing that the bombs will drop in 3 hours time on Santa Monica, one marine sets the countdown timer on his watch for 3 hours and starts it. The watch is a Casio G-shock GW-9000 Mudman. This particular watch only has a 1-hour countdown timer. (00:24:15)
