Continuity mistake: When Portnow meets with Bishop at the church, in the first closeup of Bishop's crossword puzzle the word "MUD" is the second word across at the top, and at the center of the puzzle the 4-letter word "GEAR" is written in the 5-letter answer - with the fist space left empty. However, in the next closeup of the puzzle, now the word "ETA" is the second word at the top and "MUD" is the third, and the word "GEARS" has the "S" added, with the letter "G" started properly in the first space of the answer. Continuity mistake: In the scene where John commits suicide by slitting his wrist, the soles of his shoes go from brand new and unmarked (quite clearly seen in a couple of close up shots) to scuffed and worn (also seen quite well in a couple of shots). (01:34:25)
Revealing mistake: When Jimmy attempts to kill himself, the bullet hole on his back is far above where he shot himself in the chest. At least 4-6 inches higher, AND the gun was slanted downward.
Continuity mistake: Mary Ann pulls the cord out of the iPod and holds it with the screen facing her palm, as she explains about Robbie's Algeria report. However, in the next shot the iPod is held in her hand the opposite way. (00:06:55)
Continuity mistake: After Lisa pretends to be reading a magazine to avoid the security guards who're looking for her near her gate, she spots Jackson and you can see two men sitting at a table eating lunch in the foreground of the shot. When Jackson sees her and starts running after her, both the table and the men are gone (Jackson runs through the place they used to be). (00:56:45)
Continuity mistake: While being chased by the 3 BMWs, the passenger's headrest of the Dodge minivan driven by Brad changes from a 1-piece (part of the seat), to a headrest that you can adjust the height and it keeps changing during the scene.
Visible crew/equipment: During the freeway chase, when both the Hummer and the Dodge Magnum are shown flipping over at the same time, the "Bay Buster" camera truck is briefly visible in the background.
Revealing mistake: In the opening scene, the helmet closes on the guy's head. Inside there are spikes on all sides, but when his head falls to the ground the blood only comes out the bottom. The spikes should have also gone into the other side of his head and blood should have run down his face to the floor. (00:04:20)
Continuity mistake: When the Seagrass is attacked, the two girls are thrown through the cabin's rear windows, landing on the outside deck. When the boat's owner finds it, a camera circles the Seagrass from a distance and the rear windows are intact. When he and Elizabeth board the boat, the windows are again broken. Continuity mistake: When Candy is talking to her boss, he puts the money in the box and it changes position, then even disappears in one shot. (00:19:05)
Continuity mistake: The blood on Marv's chin appears and disappears when he's being interrogated by Wendy and the girls.
Revealing mistake: When Bruce Wayne is heading to the hearing at the courthouse, he checks his revolver to make sure it's loaded. His intent is to execute Joe Chill for killing his parents, so he would need a working gun. But when he opens the cylinder of the revolver to make sure it's loaded, you can see that all of the bullets have had the primer removed (the end of each bullet casing has a hole in it.) This is done to make each round impossible to fire, for safety on the set. (00:22:55)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Owen and Tom pull Dodger from the pool. We see that Dodger's hair is hanging down over her face. We then see Owen's reaction, and then we return to Dodger. This time we see that her hair is behind her ear. She didn't have the time and it wouldn't make sense that she changed the position of her hair.
Continuity mistake: The first time Tim walks towards his house as an adult, there is only a bench on the front porch. When he walks up the steps, there is a bicycle next to the door. (00:25:30)
Continuity mistake: During the scene right after Amy's boss drives away, you can see the street behind her, over her shoulder, is empty of vehicles. The camera zooms in as she flicks her cigarette away, and in the cut shot, suddenly a taxi appears over her shoulder, which was not there a second before. (00:37:30)
Continuity mistake: When Rachel begins to brake her car after seeing the deer on the road, as the shots keep changing the markings on the road also keep changing. In overhead shots the markings are a single broken yellow line, but in closeups of the wheels, the markings are solid double yellow lines. (00:30:40)
Continuity mistake: When Stephanie is about to check avionics, Fiona holds the flashlight by the lamp end (bulb) as Stephanie takes the flashlight. However, in the next shot, Fiona still holds the flashlight, but she now holds the other end as Stephanie takes the flashlight from her.
Continuity mistake: Aeon pushes Freya onto a table as they fight, and knocks over a lamp. In the next shot the lamp's upright.
Continuity mistake: After Jonathan saves the baby from the car he goes to the funeral. In the funeral he starts talking to the baby's father and while they are talking you see a bald man with glasses pass by and glance at the baby and then in another scene you see the same bald guy pass again. Deliberate mistake: In the shot where peoples' bags are being checked in the two Xray machines as President Zuwanie is arriving, you can see that both monitors are showing the exact same bag's contents. Also, although you can see one of the machines' Xray-active light turning on, the image on the monitor does not change. (01:40:35)
