Other mistake: In the beginning of the song about Augustus Gloop, computer generated Oompa Loompas can be seen running through the Chocolate Room, preparing to sing their song. In the DVD release, some Oompa Loompas can be seen running to places that no real person could possibly stand on. This mistake was later corrected in the Blu-Ray release.
Other mistake: When Ray pulls up to Mary Ann's home, the front exterior layout and dimensions of the house are evident, from its near center front door to the two car garage, in front of Ray's van. The side exterior wall contains two large garage doors, which are about 35-40 ft from the location of the front door, with no small basement windows at ground level; inside, beside the front door, the stairs that lead to the basement run parallel just under the stairs in the foyer. In the basement, the small windows on the far end of the furnace room they run into are only about 20 ft from the basement stairs. Not only are the small windows non-existent in the exterior shot, but it's entirely impossible for two small windows to be where they are, considering the exterior footage of the house. Other mistake: When Ann Darrow is awaiting sacrifice to Kong she is hanging from tight thick ropes around her wrists. However, when Kong shows up he just grabs her and tears her from the plinth. Either the ropes should still be around her arms having been torn from their mounts, or her arms should have been ripped off.
Other mistake: To escape from the elevator, Anakin cuts a hole in the ceiling. Later, when they rescue the Chancellor, they almost get crushed by another elevator (it is another one. Each elevator has a number. Obi Wan said the number of this elevator before and it was different than the one that had the hole). However, when a shot of this elevator is shown, it has the same hole that the other elevator has (better seen in slow motion).
Other mistake: It was established in the first Mask that the mask does not work in the daytime, but it works during the day in this movie.
Other mistake: It's been stated that Danny doesn't know how to read. This is evidenced by the fact that Walter has to read every card that Danny gets. When Danny first finds the game, he's able to read and even pronounce Zathura accurately even though he is illiterate.
Other mistake: When the NASCAR pit crew starts working on Herbie at the barn, they initially pull a bunch of parts and tools from their racetrack trailer. One man is carrying a distinctive VW-only wheel rim, which would definitely not fit their regular NASCAR car. The decision to race Herbie had just been made, so they would not have been carrying VW spare parts yet. Nor could they have pulled one of Herbie's wheels yet since they were still carrying the jack to the barn.
Other mistake: In the opening scenes, when the gang is introduced, one of the members kicks three men and knocks them out, but you can see he misses all of them by at least 6 inches.
Other mistake: When Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman are talking together inside the boxes, Alex has three holes in his box allowing light in for him. Melman, Marty and Gloria have that too, but Gloria's box is lying under Alex's and Marty's, so it can't get as much light - but it does.
Suggested correction: When we see the outsides of the box on the ship we can also see little gaps caused by wood planks nailed to the sides of the box so there should be a little light coming from in between to Gloria's box holes.
Other mistake: When Balian talks to God on the hill where Jesus died, after he says his line, the next shot is him sitting down overlooking the empty valley below. A white light travels from right to left going 45-50 mph. Nothing back then could go that fast, and even if anything could, a torch is yellow and red, and even if it could be white, no rider can ride that fast with a white-light torch and keep it from going out - leaving us to assume it's a car.
Other mistake: When the trucker is running Ice Cube against the barrier, sparks fly out. In the next scene, there are no scratches on the side of the Navigator.
Other mistake: When the pennant game is being played, Chicken Little's team is down by two runs with a score of 14-13, but if you add the score up off of the board before Little's two run hit, it equals 15.
Other mistake: When Dorthy is trying to audition for the Muppet's the man says they are gone and the Muppet's bus pulls up. If you look when the bus is pulling up there is no one in it, even the driver seat is empty. Then a few seconds after the bus stops Kermit and Miss. Piggy come walking out.
Other mistake: When Aslan is resurrected, and the Stone Table cracks, you see Susan and Lucy stumble from the jolt and fall. If you watch closely, however, Susan prepares herself for the jolt before it ever happens. She throws her arms out and bends slightly at the waist, a few seconds before the jolt.
Other mistake: When the camera changes shot to the security feed for the first time in River's bar brawl scene, you can see, on the top right, Jayne and Mal sitting down with Fanty and Mingo and the Dancer preparing to block the camera's view. This is before the gang have even stepped into the bar.
Other mistake: When the two heroes are wind riding the plane they more or less repaired (about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the beginning of the movie), the wind blows from the right side of the plane to the left, but the hero is counter balancing the plane on the left side as if the wind were coming from the left. He should be standing on the right side of the plane to really balance it.
Suggested correction: They are using the aileron and rudder to counter the effects of the wind and to provide forward momentum. The makeshift wing was placed on the right side of the roof meaning he would have to be floating in mid-air to be on the right side of the plane which is not feasible.
Other mistake: When Ben lies wounded in the open, we are treated to a solar eclipse followed by a full moon. These events must be 2 weeks apart. Long enough for Ben to have grown a beard (which doesn't happen), but too long for him to survive without water.
Other mistake: The chaingun was actually a heavily dressed up Browning Browning Model 1919 machine gun with a fake rotating barrel cluster surrounding the real firing barrel - in several firing scenes a careful eye will notice the barrels are not even rotating.
Other mistake: In the hospital scene at the beginning of the film, the cardiac monitor is showing no activity, after she pulls her leads, and the monitor is featured so prominently there is still no activity.
Other mistake: When Wallace is eating the celery, you can see that the bottom of his throat looks really weird, as if the model wasn't complete.
