Deliberate mistake: Not only is the angle of the moonlight that shines through Jack's prison cell window intentionally exaggerated to enhance the shots with Jack, doggy, Koehler and Twigg, but in relevant shots, the moonlight is not seen coming through the window or the broken wall. Nor is it reflected on the floor outside the cells or in the cell next to Jack, particularly in the shots from the dog's POV looking up the corridor towards Jack. (00:36:00)Super Grover
Deliberate mistake: Bosley is a school crossing guard trying to help the Angels. The children behind them say they are gonna be late for school. Of course they're going to be late because there is not a school within 10 miles of where they are standing. There's trees and what looks like a huge mountainside on the other side of the street. You can see this more visibly as the car that is about to run over Bosley is approaching. Done for a gag, but still ridiculous. (01:09:05)iceverything776
Deliberate mistake: Towards the end of the movie fish are seen to swim down in order to submerge the net in which they have been caught. Although the attempt seems logical, it actually needs power against the net to push it down. None of the fish seem to touch the net at the bottom however and if it is the whole mass of fish achieving it, then the bottom fish should have been squashed against the net which (again) isn't the case. 'What brings the net down?' is the question here. (Done deliberately by Disney/Pixar to be visually aesthetically pleasing.)
Deliberate mistake: When Leota is in the front seat of the automobile, the air bag is still full. Air bags will deploy and then immediately deflate to prevent people (or women in crystal balls) from being trapped. (01:10:45)
Deliberate mistake: When Jackie tries to avoid the Jamaican guy he jumps up to a higher deck. As we see him duck out of sight it takes him about 1 second to get to the other side and jump down there. However it's at least 40 feet to get to the other side. Jackie is usually fast but not that fast. (00:34:30)Mortug
Deliberate mistake: It is not believable that Charlene, the dangerous prison escapee, would seek legal assistance to re-open her case, and not be concerned about escape charges, in addition to freely being seen by many people.
Deliberate mistake: When you see one of Pascal's henchmen turn off the power, he is wearing a black suit. In the reflection of the glass on the power box, you can see 'Police' written on the jacket. The filmmaker chose this suit because it was black, thinking no one would see the police logo on it.
Deliberate mistake: Mays Gilliam and the girl is standing and are about to kiss someone suddenly shouts, "Freeze." They are now totally surrounded by cars and armed policemen. Wouldn't Gilliam and the girl notice them arriving before they were about to kiss and before the man shouted? (00:49:00)Mortug
Deliberate mistake: Whenever O.J. the owl is flying, there is the sound of wings flapping that sounds almost like a chicken flapping its wings. The flight of an owl is almost silent.
Deliberate mistake: When Harry is seen stepping outside of his hotel the evening after he arrives in Paris, behind him is the familiar Eiffel Tower gloriously illuminated against the night sky. Frequent Paris visitors or residents might recognise the hotel as the Plaza Athenee - to see the Eiffel Tower from there you'd need to be looking in the opposite direction from what we're shown.
Deliberate mistake: When Cindy is leaving the elementary school and doesn't realize she leaves Cody, she drives for awhile (about 300 feet or so), she's talking and she keeps driving when she realizes Cody isn't in the car, it zooms to the exterior of the car and it shows it stop, then she backs up and the school is only like 40 feet away.
