Other mistake: When Rick and Ardeth Bay save Evie from the warehouse after Imhotep is resurrected, there are four mummies chasing them when they get on the double-decker bus. Rick shoots one of the mummies and "kills" it. He shoots another one in half and goes to the top of the bus to fight another one. The top portion of the mummy that got shot in half then fights Ardeth Bay. Evie kills the mummy that got shot in half and the top part of the bus gets torn off by the bridge and kills the mummy Rick is fighting. John stops the bus and they all sign with relief. Whatever happened to the fourth mummy chasing them? (00:43:20 - 00:46:40)
Other mistake: When Darry is in the basement under the church, Darry is laying on the floor surrounded by a circle of sunlight appearing through the pipe. Then follows a series of cuts between Trish at the open end of the pipe, and Darry. Why do we not see a silhouette of Trish on the floor rather than a perfect circle of light?
Other mistake: When everyone is looking for Bobby, Matthew Lillard says that it is no use shouting because the glass is 100% sound proof. Yet when he is trapped in the cage, he hears Maggie screaming directions for him to dodge the ghost - not sound proof at all then.
Other mistake: When we see the body of Liz Stride after her throat has been cut, the blood is bright pink. This may be due to the light shining on it, but it's still pink. (Surely by then, the blood would have turned brown after mixing with the oxygen?).
Other mistake: Just after the crashed plane has been kicked by the Spinosaurus and stopped rolling, we see the Spinosaurus going towards the plane through a window. The Spinosaurus is not bending its head low in the shot, but its head is too high off the ground when it stands for this shot to be physically possible.
Other mistake: When the cherub stabs all the body bags, he finds the one the girl is in then stabs her and blood drains down through the tube. That only happens when the body is on the draining table. Are we to think there was a hole in the bag? And even if there was, there's no way blood could have filled up the bag and drained out that fast.
Other mistake: When Ann makes fun of the mute at the dinner table, the mute wears a plum-burgundy dress. Later on when Grace runs down to the gate and hears Ann crying, she's wearing the exact same dress. Seems unlikely the woman of the house would wear the same clothes as the scullery girl.
Other mistake: If the flying creatures sense heat, then the junkyard should have a lot of heat signatures, but the aerial photograph has none.
Suggested correction: It wasn't an actual, fully operational junk yard with car crushers, cranes etc. It was just an area that the residents had designated a junk yard.
Other mistake: When Dos is killed by his own grenade (after he dropped it) the direction the explosion sends him makes no sense. He should have been facing the other direction. (00:52:33)
Other mistake: As Jason wrestles around with the kid on his back his left eye opens some and his real eye can be seen. However, the eye was removed during the examination at the beginning.
Other mistake: The door of the plane is open and lets in a huge amount of pressure, but suddenly, a close-up of a corner of it shows how it softly closes tightly, without anyone turning its lever, or pushing.
Other mistake: James is venturing inside the cave using his flashlight; forgetting the fact that the cave is perfectly lit and his electric torch serves no apparent purpose, it is shown casting a light on his own face despite the fact that he is pointing it forward. (00:03:50)
