Other mistake: Brandon is at Candace's in the shack when Chloe Sevigny drives away to her home - which is at a driving distance - to get her things, and somehow Brandon pops in her window to tell her to hurry up! How did she get there so fast?
Other mistake: In the scene where the store owner pulls out a shotgun and starts to shoot at the robber, you see the glass on the drink displayer shatter. However, if you look closer you can see that the soda bottles remain untouched.
Other mistake: When the prisoners take a break from digging the ditch, Jangle Leg sits down to talk to Claude. When Claude looks at Ray in confusion while Jangle Leg is still talking to him, you can see Jangle Leg sitting down below Ray.
Other mistake: At the start of the film where Detective Dooley and Jerry-Lee are getting ready for work, we see Dooley climbing out of the shower, but in the reflection in the mirror behind him, we see him emerging and can clearly see his under-pants which are bone-dry. (00:00:32)
Other mistake: On two occasions in the movie, Ashley Judd slams a car into another (she drives Tommy Lee Jones' car into another and over the side of the ferry boat, and later she smashes a stolen pickup truck into the side of a car). In each case, the car she is driving emerges from the crash without a scratch on it, not even a damaged headlight.
Other mistake: In the scene after Mini-Me's and Austin's fight when Austin is sitting on the space toilet to "eject" Mini-Me he picks up a copy of the London Times, as seen on the cover page of the newspaper. On the last page of the newspaper there is a weather page showing a map of the United States. Why would the London Times have the weather for the United States instead of Great Britain?
Other mistake: When Sly hypnotises the guy, he tells him to wiggle his tongue. He starts wiggling his tongue exactly when Sly says, "Wiggle."
Other mistake: In the opening credits, Michael McShane's first name is incorrectly spelled as Micheal.
Other mistake: The death warrant for "Arlen Bitterbuck" is dated 1935 but the subtitle in German says 1985. (00:25:15)
Other mistake: Given the three girls are in tight skirts and high heels it seems unlikely they could've caught up to Fern who's wearing a loose skirt and loafers.
Other mistake: Both Brenner and Sunhill are First Sergeants, yet their military IDs are very different: Brenner's is just a plastic ID card, but Sunhill has both a police ID badge as well as a paper card authorizing her to make arrests.
Suggested correction: Paul Brenner is a Chief Warrant Officer 4, Sarah Sunhill is a Chief Warrant Officer 2. His mil ID is 1SG because he is undercover, it's not Paul Brenner's. First Sergeants are never CID agents, though Master Sergeants could be. Brenner holds his CID credentials to the MP's at the gate when heading to the murder scene.
Other mistake: When Porter cuts the fuel line on the car and is about to light it, Carter's henchmen see him and act surprised. Despite having ample time to get out (as any rational person might do), they just sit in the car and wait for it to explode.
Other mistake: Tom Ripley's ticket says first class in the limo, but when he boards, the rich girl says she saw his stuff in the third class stack. Dickie also says that he's a third class mooch, but according to his ticket he rode first class, so that'd make him a first class mooch, not third. His cabin is never shown. (00:07:20)
