Continuity mistake: When Shane first gets into Studio 54, he is told to take his shirt off. He pulls it over the top of his head. Then he walks in holding it and even though he never unbuttons it, it is somehow unbuttoned when he puts it on again.
Continuity mistake: The young son of the Chinese owner of the violin is near-sighted and his glasses have concave lenses. When he attends the auction as an adult he is far-sighted with incredibly thick convex lenses.
Continuity mistake: When LV begins her big concert, she carries a microphone on a cord. But after her first song, a stand instantly appears on stage without any stage hand moving from the wings.
Continuity mistake: After Marnie has installed the talisman, we are given a glimpse of her where she is flipped. She had been resting on the giant pumpkin with her right leg hiked up and her right foot resting inside the pumpkin's left eye. But she is flipped, with her left leg hiked up and her left foot resting in the pumpkin's right eye.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Eve is contemplating mating with Dennis Gamble in her lab, you can see her in the door's reflection standing. After rejecting him, she sits is a chair and turns away. The following shot shows Dennis's reaction to be rejected, but also show Eve's reflection still standing.
Continuity mistake: When Esme runs to the camera then turns and runs back, she has a light pink handkerchief in her back pocket. When she climbs the balcony it is still there then when she jumps from the balcony and the suspenders stretch it has vanished.
Continuity mistake: Sandra and her strong man are pursuing Jack and Bridget. They almost catch up to them and bang up both sides of their wagon in the car chase. Bridget and Jack escape, with eventually Sandra and company in pursuit a way behind them, tracking them on an alien computer. When they reach the power plant where Jack and Bridget are, their car has no damage at all. (01:18:20 - 01:29:05)
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, the writer seeks out one of the locals, and finds him in a corn field digging up pot plants that marijuana growers are trying to grow in his corn field. There is only one problem: It is supposed to be Spring, but the corn is all brown, thus it really is fall or early winter.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Paul and little Mole first meet Shadrach, they are playing marbles. In the shot where Paul looks over his shoulder to see Shadrach, a lot more marbles appear on the ground than there was in the previous shot, and the arrangement of the marbles is completely different. When the camera goes to a close-up of Shadrach and back to the boys, the marbles once again change their positions. (00:17:50)
Continuity mistake: Madame Blueberry's hair changes from brown to blonde throughout the film.
Suggested correction: Her hairstyle and hat change. She bought a wig and a new hat while at StuffMart, and continues wearing them until the final scene, where she is back to being herself.
Continuity mistake: When the girl in the orange slides over the stones and then falls to the ground tumbling over and over, you can see that her arms are completely protected by black arm protectors, yet when she comes to a complete stop, they are now missing.
Continuity mistake: The heels on Barbara's shoes appear and disappear throughout the movie.
Continuity mistake: When Hobbs (D. Washington) enters his brother Art's bedroom, soon to find him dead, he opens the door without closing it. After grieving for a short time he stands at the door, now closed, as he gathers himself as to what he just saw.
Suggested correction: You can hear the door close by itself as soon as he enters the room.
Continuity mistake: When Downtown strikes out on TV, he is wearing #14. When he is in the dugout getting hassled by Carlos Liston, he is wearing #16. (01:07:30)
Continuity mistake: Earlier in the film Steven Seagal explains that in his lab they used plastic beakers because glass can cut the monkey suits.Later in his lab they are using pyrex beakers and when they clink together, they are clearly made of glass.
Continuity mistake: In the flashback, where Victor's parents ask him who his favourite Indian is, before he walks out the door, there are two girls on the porch playing with a sparkler while leaning on the rail, facing away from the door. In the next shot, in a close-up where Victor comes through the door, the girls are now leaning against the exterior of the house next to the door, facing each other. No sparkler in sight. (00:25:11)
Continuity mistake: Vic is drinking at the bar and talking about his guilty conscience - or lack thereof: he holds his glass with his right, left, right depending on the camera angle.
Continuity mistake: Jake is opening Ian's locker, with Ian inside. He asks the third number of the combination; depending on the shot, he's holding the lock with both hands, or he has one hand on the door itself. (00:03:10)
Continuity mistake: When Frank and Martha are walking by the river, he is carrying her orange bag. At first he is carrying it hanging by a strap from his shoulder, but when the angle changes he is carrying it by a handle.
Continuity mistake: In the final lap of the race with Pre vs. Frank Shorter the two runners round the last lap with Shorter leading the race. At first Shorter is leading in lane 1 with Pre following directly behind. Then Pre is suddenly in lane 2. For the final straight away, Shorter is now in lane 2 and Pre in lane 3.
