Continuity mistake: When the Joker's henchmen are trashing the museum, one guy puts red handprints all over a portrait, later the Joker walks by the same portrait and the handprints are gone. (00:59:55)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, when Riggs is in the cargo area, a gunman shoots at him, he rolls and starts emptying the clip into him - you see the bullet holes in the gunman. But as Riggs is face to face with the gunman, the holes disappear.
Continuity mistake: In Ellen Barkin's apartment, Al Pacino accidently knocks a postcard off of the fridge. A few seconds later, it's back where it was, though nobody picked it up.
Continuity mistake: When Beck meets Webly on Christmas Day, Webly takes his glasses off and throws them on the desk, but in the next shot (from behind) he is still wearing them. (00:16:50)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Belushi and Jerry Lee (the dog) enter the warehouse, Belushi askes everyone to stop what they are doing and even has the forklift driver lift him up so he can talk to them. Once he is done talking, he tells the lift driver to bring him down. The next few shots where they show Belushi walking to his car, if you look closely, you will see that the fork lift is back up in the air, but there were no sounds and there isn't another lift to be found. Continuity mistake: When Tango and Cash are playing the "good cop, bad cop" routine with Requin, the tape on Requin's mouth is almost off, but in the next shot the tape is OK.
Continuity mistake: When Eddie tells Homer about the Wady robbery while they're driving along, there's a change from broad daylight to late dusk in mid-sentence. (00:33:05)
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie Dave takes Walley's jacket and uses it to help them slide down a cable. Before they slid down, Dave tells Walley to hold on, and Walley asks if they're going to be above the ground. Dave tells him no, and off they go. However, Dave is deaf, and reads lips, and Walley is standing behind him when he asks the question. So how did Dave read his lips if he wasn't looking at him?
Continuity mistake: In the scene on the plane, you see Bond hanging at the door on the right side of the plane. In the next shot, you see the plane making a left turn. In the following shot, Bond is still hanging on the right-side door. Shouldn't he have fallen into the plane?
Continuity mistake: While Tom Hanks is driving to the motel after leaving the fish packing plant, scratches are on his face and blood is on his ear. When he pulls into the parking lot of the motel, the scratches are gone.
Continuity mistake: When Harris is briefing the new group for the first time, Hightower loosens the leg of Harris' chair so that it breaks when Harris sits down. When Harris gets up from the middle of debris, the next shot shows an innocent looking Hightower and the chair is intact in front of him.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where they are discussing why Dalton fired Mr Wesley's nephew (upstairs in the Double Deuce). Mr Wesley's nephew threatens Dalton with a knife and when Dalton takes a swing at him, there is blood on Mr Wesley's nephew's face way before contact. (00:34:05 - 00:38:00)
Continuity mistake: During a car chase, the "killer" is rushing a little girl to the hospital. As they pass the sign, it reads (in English) "Scared Heart Hospital" - instead of "Sacred".
Continuity mistake: In one scene we are looking at a shopping complex known as Greenspring Station which Nina is being chased through. Somehow she winds up being chased through a K-Mart. Anyone familiar with the Baltimore area, where the movie was shot, knows for a fact that there is not a K-Mart anywhere near that ritzy section of town.
Continuity mistake: During the big fight scene at the end of the movie, both Nick and Sato become totally saturated and covered in mud. Nick defeats Sato, and is shown to have immediately arrested Sato and brought him to the police station. It is clear they came directly to the station from the fight, yet there is now hardly any mud on either of them.
Continuity mistake: When Fletch goes to visit Calculus in his shack, he knocks on the window and sees Calculus sitting in a chair, wearing boots. The next shot, as Fletch is walking inside, Calculus is now wearing socks and no boots, despite never having left the seated position, nor having had any time to slide his feet out of the boots. Continuity mistake: When Patrick Swazee's brother is in the van and is being chased by the guys trying to steal the van, the guys place a blue light on the roof of the car. The first shot of the car the light is on the passenger side. In all the rest of the shots, the light is on the driver's side of the car.
Continuity mistake: During a barbeque Jamie Lee Curtis is holding a beer. During the scene the brand of beer changes a number of times.
Continuity mistake: In an earlier scene when The Punisher is at the mobster's house and the house gets set on fire, he is standing in the doorway killing bad guys. One second he is in the doorway and the next he is standing firmly on the ground.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sean Connery is in prison & Matthew Broderick is visiting - the camera alternates between looking into the cell (at Sean) and looking out (at Matthew). Watch the hands that are holding on to the cell bars - they move each time you get a new shot.
