Other mistake: When Brian takes a picture of his friend Doug on the boat, the picture shows Doug in a different position than that of when the picture was taken. (01:21:30)
Other mistake: When Dean compliments Les on the great driving making up for a year of boredom, Les looks around up in the air in a direction away from the car, then suddenly says "there's a scratch on my car." He then looks down on the car at the scratch and shows Dean. He said the "scratch" line before actually seeing it.
Other mistake: In the scene where Alyssa's father is in her room, she says "Ms. Kensington seems nice. Does she work with you?" Then she holds on to the bedpost and sort of swings herself around it while looking up at the ceiling with her tongue to one side of her mouth-she probably thought it was just a practice shot. She does the same thing in the scene where she is on the pottery wheel with Diane-she quickly looks up towards the camera.
Other mistake: As the brown truck drives away in the scene after the man working in the newspaper office is "harpooned" by a Critter, if you look closely as the truck turns a corner you can see some Critters rolling after it. Well, after they roll past the truck in the bottom left of the screen you can see the Critters roll right smack into another parked car. Obviously the crew forgot to add a turning feature to their Critter balls (which were just some fur taped to a basket ball).
Other mistake: When Devito sends Arnold into the house to get his stuff and go with him to New Mexico and Houston, Devito quickly jumps into the car to drive off. (You can see on the long street behind him that there are no cars coming). Yet, not one second has gone by and you are looking at him from the front of the car and Linda and her sister pull up behind him blocking him in the driveway. They turned in from the left which was the same stretch of street you were looking at with no cars on it just one moment earlier. (00:48:40)
Other mistake: Pay attention to one of the early innings of the baseball game as one of the Angels players hits a home run. Though probaby intentionally set up this way as to avoid any problems of "logo patents" and such with the real life MLB California Angels team, he is wearing a helmet without the team logo on it. Other mistake: Nuke is having a great game. Crash comes out BEFORE the first pitch to the next batter and instructs him to "throw the next one at the mascot." Nuke does. Crash tells the batter not to dig in because he doesn't now where it's going, etc. The next pitch is a strike (making the count 1-1), yet everyone cheers and Crash throws down to 3rd base like it was a strikeout and the batter walks away.
Other mistake: When Elvira is being chased by her Uncle Vinnie, you can see the hole in his head from where Elvira throws her stiletto at him. However, the hole in his head is apparent 'before' the scene in which she actually throws her stiletto.
Other mistake: The Giant Killer Klown at the end of the movie picks up the Ice Cream truck and hurls it into the wall resulting in an explosion that destroys the entire car. The two ice cream drivers say that the way they lived was by hiding in the ice cream truck freezer. First, ice cream truck freezers cannot fit two people and even if they could, the car was blown apart from the back first which would have killed them instantly anyway.
Other mistake: If the dead characters all are continuously displaying how they died, Adam and Barbara should constantly look wet, but they don't.
Other mistake: Josh's birthday, according to the milk carton, is in the winter. But, some time after he celebrates his birthday at the Italian restaurant, he returns to his childhood neighborhood and it's fall (colored leaves, etc.). It can't be the following year because he's only gone for a total of a few weeks.
Other mistake: When Jack stumbles into the wrong bedroom, he witnesses Mary's murder twice. Later, Mary reveals that she gets murdered only once every night.
Other mistake: The two headed monster's heads are pretty big. Big enough to swallow a person whole. But when Val Kilmer jumps on one to impale it, the sword comes out of the bottom of the monster's head. For this to happen, the sword would have to be unbelievably large, larger than a man, which he would be unable to wield anyway.
Other mistake: When John Candy starts the drag boat, upon the sound of the engine starting, water starts flowing from the exhaust pipes but the engine never turns over.
Other mistake: Winkelmann has the habit of confusing floors, thus trying to open his neighbor's door. When he returns home after the club session he, therefore, checks the name on the mailbox before he opens his door, but this name is much to short to be his (it's safe to assume it's not his nickname Pussi). Other mistake: When Eddie Valiant gets thrown out of the Ink and Paint Club, he is already starting to go through the air as the gorilla moves his hands to throw him. (00:21:20)
Other mistake: Right after Heather Duke and Heather McNamara drop in on Veronica and Betty Finn playing croquet, Veronica talks to her parents about the suicides. She still has a croquet mallet in her hand, so little time can have passed. Heather Duke rushes in with a shopping bag, and tells Veronica that while at the mall they heard about Martha Dumptruck's suicide attempt. But Heather Duke had just left Veronica's house - there wasn't enough time for these events to happen.
Other mistake: Watch when Carol is singing "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," as she walks down the line of on-lookers, an extra in the back moves along with her and keeps looking at the camera.
Other mistake: When Regine becomes the new host of Fright Night, she appears on video monitors and Peter Vincent is watching her on TV while in a bar. Cameras use mirrors, so she shouldn't have appeared on the monitors or on the television at all.
Suggested correction: Most cameras don't use mirrors. Only DSLR/SLR cameras do, which allows you to use a viewfinder. Other cameras, camcorders, and television cameras don't need mirrors.
Other mistake: The Duke is picked up in New York. They are headed to L.A. via Chicago. Jack has Eddie wire $500 to Amarillo, Texas. The route from Chicago to L.A. would not take them anywhere near Texas.
