Other mistake: When Snake is injected, and his timer is set to 23:00, Hauk tells him the glider is waiting. The next scene has Snake getting into the glider, but when he radios in, Hauk says there's 21 hours left. Snake was pretty upset that he didn't get a full 24 hours; knowing his life is on the line, why would he take 2 full hours to walk out the door and over to the glider that was waiting for him? (00:24:00 - 00:24:55)
Other mistake: At the beginning of movie when Indy is about to steal the gold idol, the camera does a close-up of it. The idol has been in a decaying temple for hundreds of years. but it appears shiny and new, as though just placed there. You'd expect the idol to at least be dusty or covered in jungle debris.
Other mistake: At the beginning of the Roman Empire section, there are signs that use the letter V as a substitute for the letter U. However, one of the signs says "Annual Orgy and Buffet." For some reason, the U's are not V's.
Other mistake: He says his father won the sculling 1928 Olympics, which doesn't match up with their ages.
Other mistake: After the exploding head incident, Revok is captured at gunpoint. Minutes later, the man pointing the gun at Revok racks the slides; no cartridge is ejected, which means the entire time prior to this moment the handgun was useless, as there was no round in the chamber. Cocking the hammer, taking the gun from double-action to single action, would have achieved the Hollywood dramatic effect without a common sense error on gun functionality.
Other mistake: After Earl and Vic tangle in the swamp, Earl staggers back to his house to discreetly use the basement shower, where he is shocked to find Vic already there and waiting for him, hiding in the dark behind the shower curtain. Both men are literally covered from head to toe in thick, muddy muck from the swamp. but there is no trace of mud (handprints, smears, etc) on the shower curtain nor in the clean, white shower; and, when Earl manages to chase Vic out of the basement, he leans heavily on the door for a moment after slamming it, which should have left a huge, muddy print on the door's clean, white surface. But, as Earl steps away, there is no muddy print on the door at all. (00:38:57 - 00:39:42)
Other mistake: When Ned Racine goes to see Teddy Lewis about making a bomb, Teddy turns down the music by adjusting a unit (possibly a radio) on his workbench. Near the end of the scene, Teddy climbs up on his loft bed and, after saying his last line, reaches out of frame and turns down the radio. There's no way he could have reached the workbench from that distance. Most likely the editor used Teddy's gesture to motivate his turning down the music. And it works.
Other mistake: During the ending credits, Steadicam is misspelled as Stedicam.
Other mistake: When the killer and the girl's body fall out of the window she's barefoot. Given she'd been dug up she should've been wearing shoes.
Other mistake: As Debbie walks through the foggy maze from her upstairs bedroom to the bathroom across the hall, she closes the door and then asks herself why she is in the kitchen, when the kitchen is obviously downstairs.
