Audio problem: When Al Czervik pays the band leader to play something hot, they stop playing slow music and a disco song starts up. The disco song is obviously the original studio recording and not the clubhouse band. The female vocal accompaniments from the recording can be heard, but there were no female vocalists with the clubhouse band. (00:36:10)
Audio problem: When the boys are in the club, as the music comes on just before they start dancing to their song, we hear Dustin say, "I don't like this song", but his mouth movements don't match that sentence.
Audio problem: After Turner tells his son Joey to throw to Engleberg low and outside, Joey replies "But Dad - I wanted to strike him out", however his mouth doesn't move at all and the volume on this line is much louder, so obviously dubbed in.
Audio problem: When Yeah-Yeah goes over the fence, he's panting but his breathing doesn't match his mouth or shoulder movements.
Audio problem: When Henry is at bat, his mother is berating the pitcher. She starts saying you stupid mother... and it cuts to Gary Busey completing the sentence. He says "God damn," but his mouth doesn't match. Chances are he said the f-word but it was changed in post for ratings issues.
Suggested correction: He doesn't say "God damn." He says "of God in Heaven."
Audio problem: When Sam and Tess go to the baseball game, and she asks who is playing, he responds with "The Athletics and the Yanks." When Sam mentions the "Athletics" his lips are saying a different team. (00:09:20)
Audio problem: During the first hockey game, two players almost get in a fight, and the ref pulls them apart. He says something, but his mouth doesn't match what he says.
Audio problem: After Shooter calls Happy a freak, there's an over-the-shoulder shot of Happy saying that he entered the tournament for one reason. As he says this line, his mouth doesn't move.
Audio problem: In the final game scene where Neon scores the game-winning basket, as he dunks the alley-oop pass from Butch, you hear him yell in excitement, but his mouth never opens.
Audio problem: During the party with Oingo Boingo, they cut to a far close-up shot of Thornton and two girls dancing. You can see the band in the background and where Danny Elfman is supposed to be singing the next line. He's way too far from the microphone to sing the lyrics. Also, you can see his lips aren't moving when you hear the lyrics. (01:05:25)
Audio problem: During the scene in the restaurant where Hiroko surprises Jack with the Kobe Beef dish, Hiroko's lips aren't moving when she says "Sorry, little joke!".
Audio problem: Terrible Tommy and Rose exchange words just as their match begins but neither one's mouth opens.
Audio problem: Whenever Tonya skates, you can hear the sound of figure skate blades scraping at the ice. Not only do they not correspond to the moves being made, but a skater of that calibre, not to mention of her technical prowess, simply wouldn't make those sounds at all.
Audio problem: During the last scene with Ken, he is talking to Phil, as he jumps into the J-Car. He starts the car and the sound of the car is not that of a carbureted 7.0L (427) V8 (which is what it should be) but the sound from a 2005-2006 Ford GT. This is the car Ford sold for 2 years as a tribute to the GT40. The start up sound with the supercharged V8 (which is in the GT) is unmistakable. Especially to car people. When he's accelerating the engine/exhaust sound changes to the 7.0L (727) V8. (02:18:51)
Audio problem: During Rusty's conversation with Hardy (about knowing he doesn't want to be at the orphanage), some camera views of Hardy from behind show his cheek (and therefore his mouth) making little and insufficient movement for the words he is saying. In particular, Hardy saying, "Look, you can make me play this little game of yours" and "We done here yet, coach?" didn't show adequate facial movement from a rear angled view. (00:22:30)
Audio problem: When Bugs says "That's the old ginger, boy!" when practising with his baseball bat, his mouth doesn't move.
Audio problem: After the flawless victory, Chaney and Speed head via train to Speed's home turf, New Orleans. The name of the city though is dubbed in a pause of the dialogue by a voice that does not even sound like James Coburn's while he opens his suitcase. You can even see that his tongue and mouth don't move to articulate the word. (00:11:35)
Audio problem: When Mylee begins to berate Kurt for causing a mess at her store, her lips do not move. (00:36:10)
