Other mistake: In the scene with the crashed escape pod, everything inside is upended with books and stuff strewn everywhere. Yet there is a bottle of Vodka sitting perfectly upright on the bar in the background.
Other mistake: When Jody finds the dwarf in the car and recognizes it to be his deceased friend Tommy, he has a quick flashback to Tommy in the coffin and the exact moment Tommy was murdered. But the second flashback makes no sense, Jody never saw Tommy being killed and was told by Reggie that he committed suicide.
Other mistake: In the beginning of the movie where Baby Jim is talking about Treasure Planet, he crawls under the top sheet of his bed that has been folded half way up the bottom of the bed, and peeks out the bottom. That's fine and all but then his mother straightens out the sheet and covers him up. You then see that the part he just peeked out of was the folded part so he shouldn't have been able to peek out.
Other mistake: After speaking with Dave Bowman on her TV, Betty lays her head on the table and we see an obvious cut & paste as her form shifts slightly. (01:09:35)
Other mistake: As Plisken escapes in the hijacked chopper, Quervo Jones picks up a bazooka and prepares to fire on it. As Fast Eddy shoots him through the chest, watch the bazooka. You can see right through the barrel. In other words, there is no ammo in the weapon. (01:25:05)
Other mistake: When they first get into space and Tish removes her helmet her left earring is free floating, which would be expected in zero gravity. But after this first shot, her earrings hang down as effected by gravity. Also all three of the girls hair hang down with gravity the whole time they are in space. (00:54:45 - 01:03:15)
Other mistake: When Doc, Marty and Jennifer have arrived in 2015 Doc tells them that the time of the day is 4:29pm. However the destination time is still shown on the time circuits' display from their time travel to the future - the two times should match, but the destination time has the bottom AM/PM light illuminated, while the current time has the top one lit. They didn't arrive or leave at 4:29am, so something's wrong somewhere. (00:04:42)
Other mistake: In the mall scene, when Gary and Wyatt sit down on the bench and Max and Ian dump the Icee on them, notice how much slush is actually dumped on them from a 32 oz. cup. (00:32:55)
Other mistake: Before Becky and Miles go down the steps after leaving his office she says "I've been in Reno". The camera goes totally out of focus for a second right when she says, "Reno" the second time. (00:07:10)
Other mistake: Frank visits Walenski just before the tuning, but the clock in his house says it is 1 o'clock. (00:27:17)
Other mistake: According to the plot, no life is possible in the Northern Hemisphere by the time the film is set. Yet, when the sailor who has been sent ashore to look around the San Diego refinery enters the premises (more precisely, when we see the smoking-prohibited sign on our right and his left) a bird can be seen flying in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
Other mistake: When Milo is practising his speech, he jumps over the blackboard to answer the phone. The top of the blackboard rests on the desk, but when he slides back over, it swings all the way round . If it hit the desk one way, it would have hit the desk swinging the other way round.
Other mistake: In the scene after Barbarella is taken out of the orgasm machine, she is given a new costume, and she no longer has her tongue box - yet everyone still speaks English.
Other mistake: The fraudulent article, "Simone: The Lost Years", published in a major magazine called Echo, contains multiple text and layout mistakes. This is best seen by single-stepping through the frames of the DVD. This is not supposed to be a rough test to plan the page layout; this is a final copy of this major magazine, as published, being read by Viktor. There are about 12 mistakes in 4 paragraphs. (00:50:36)
Other mistake: When the group returns to the lake where Leo crashed, as he is underwater leaving the pod with his pack, he has it in his left hand. The next scene he grabs Estella Warren's hand with his left. The pack is gone. As they swim up, if you watch it frame by frame, the pack instantly appears back around his left forearm before they surface.
Suggested correction: The bag was always in his left hand.
Might want to add he was holding on to the strap so it fell out of camera view when he grabs her hand, you see it when they swim up.
Other mistake: The scenes with Flash and Aura in the shuttle are a complete mess. She tells him that the left lever controls direction, the right controls the altitude. When they are passing the planet Aquarius, she tells him to take a left turn over Fridgia. A) They are passing Aquarius at the time, not Fridgia. B) He moves the right lever instead of the left lever. C) The craft doesn't change direction or altitude and even if it had moved left as supposed to, they would have ended up crashing into Aquarius. The scene when Flash wants to talk to Dale is even worse. He pulls down the left lever to dive into Fridgia. It is the wrong lever. Then when he pulls back up, he correctly uses his right hand, but the right lever is already in the up position as seen in the previous shot. (00:42:15)
Other mistake: When the zombies come out of the river and start marching, look closely. The first zombies to come out wear wet clothes, but the ones in the back are dry.
Other mistake: When the agent shows the spiral for the pattern of the messages, the spiral goes through South America and America. But the agent, before, showed two messages that aren't in the pattern; one in England (Stonehenge), the other in Cairo, Egypt.
Other mistake: About halfway through the film, there is a screw-up in the editing. After Serleena talks to the thugs, she proceeds to talk to Jarra. The next time we see her, she is interrogating Zed. Soon after, she is talking to Jarra as if she was never interrupted. (00:39:25 - 01:03:40)
Other mistake: Right at the beginning of the movie, when Lewis's real mum picks him up from the box and hugs him, it's no more than three seconds before she hears Lewis from the future slipping on the step. She gets scared and puts baby Lewis back in the box. When Wilbur takes Lewis to meet his mum, near the end of the movie, the time his mum holds the baby is more than twenty five seconds.
