Other mistake: Bruce Willis's character has a very clear scar on his forehead in some scenes (I think it's on the right as you look at him) - doesn't really fit the whole "unbreakable" theory. You'd think they could have put some makeup on it...
Other mistake: The second bus in the scene before the crop duster has no license plate.
Other mistake: On the first morning at Manderlay, as the girl is leaving the dining room, she slips and nearly falls but Frith is there to catch her, but Frith was way into the dining room; there is no way he could have been close enough to catch her.
Other mistake: In Moriarty's college study, the white King and Queen chess pieces are actually on the wrong squares. Queen starts on her own color.
Other mistake: After David Warner kills a man with his long thin sword, he pulls the sword out and puts it back in its scabbard, but there's no blood on the sword or anywhere.
Other mistake: John explains to his friend Ed that, within the last two weeks since the accident, Mary has undergone brain surgery to remove the tumor in her right temporal lobe and that she is undergoing chemotherapy. This surgery alone would necessitate shaving at least half of Mary's head, and the chemotherapy would prevent her hair from growing out again for months. But, in the immediate next scene, we see John at Mary's side as she recovers in the hospital, and her red hair with natural hairline is as full and lush as in the beginning of the film.
Other mistake: During the scene where Tom Hanks brings Sophie to his colleague's house in England, there is a chess board. The chess board is incorrectly set up as any chess player will tell you that the white king belongs on the fifth square from the left. In the shot, the white king is one the fourth square from the left, ie. he is switched with where the queen should be. Teabing would definitely know how to set the board up properly.
Other mistake: When Howard and Buglar return home after years, it's winter and everything is covered with snow, but neither their nor Sethe's breath is cloudy. (01:54:35)
Other mistake: In the scene where Jason drops from the bridge to the boat, you see him grab his left leg/knee in pain. But throughout the rest of the film, you see him limping on his right leg.
Other mistake: Near the end of the movie, Ichabod, Katrina and the young boy are in the old windmill when the horseman arrives. When the three good characters jump onto the moving sails Ichabod drops a lantern down to the floor setting the whole windmill on fire. He, the little boy and Katrina jump off the sail onto the ground and start running back to their carriage some yards away. A camera shot shows the top of the building explode and we see a very quick shot of the whole windmill exploding in flames, but Ichabod, Katrina and the little boy have disappeared. Two shots later they are still running to the carriage. (01:30:25)
Other mistake: In the ending credits, Gary Carter is listed twice.
Other mistake: Near the beginning of the movie, the Dude is shopping at Ralph's. He is writing a check, and dates it September 11th, 1991. At the same time he looks up to see a TV with President Bush saying "This aggression (against Kuwait) will not stand." The incident against Kuwait started in the summer/fall of 1990, not 1991. The Stranger (Sam Elliot) and Walter also mention the Gulf War in the present tense.
Other mistake: When Joe falls on the bungie, we see him hit his head in an entirely vertical position with his head at the top. This could not have been achieved considering the position he was in in the shot before.
Other mistake: The last shots of Trafalgar square you can see twice a UPS van driving in the background.
Other mistake: After Cage calls Gandolfini and tells him he knows about the murdered girl, Gandolfini uses the telephone. There are 13 beeps, then Cage replays it and there are 12. Telephone numbers even with the "1" and area code, only have 11 numbers. (01:01:10)
Other mistake: Mr. Gellar never ages. We see a flashback of him when he kills Sarah's Dad when Sarah was a little girl. When Sarah is a detective, he still looks the same.
Other mistake: Throughout the movie large footprints of heffalumps are shown. However, when the heffalumps bound around, they never create any footprints of any kind.
Other mistake: In the final scene where the police chief is barreling through the hospital on his bed, he goes along a straight path, yet when the two inspectors and the assistant come down the stairs they come out the side of the corridor. If the police chief followed a straight path, how did they come out of the side of the corridor, and how did the bed turn around a 90 degree corner at that speed?
Suggested correction: At 1:27:46 Inspector Dreyfus' hospital bed blows through a set of blue hospital doors. At 1:27:51 we see from a different angle, those same doors still partially open but swinging shut and then at 1:27:55 we see Inspector Clouseau and the others emerge from a different hallway, the blue hospital doors now shut behind them. Inspector Dreyfus' bed never made a turn as evidence by the doors. The trio though, for some reason took a different route chasing his bed.
Other mistake: Toward the end of the movie, as Johnny Depp and his leading lady are being led down into the dungeon, you can actually see the camera bouncing and shaking and hear it hitting the stairs as it moves down the stairs.
Other mistake: When Brad gets hit by a car, the car passes by a window, but there's no reflection of the car in the window.
Suggested correction: According to a previous explanation, David's "unbreakableness" is limited to his bone structure and general health. His skin can break and heal naturally. See the correction on why the scar from his ear piercing shows.
Twotall
When David wakes up in the hospital, Dr. Dugan tells David that he doesn't have a scratch on him. If his unbreakableness was limited only to his bone structure, he should have woken up covered in scratches from not only the force of the collision but also from the glass as he was sitting next to the window.
