Character mistake: When Buquet hangs over the scene, you can see Meg screaming along with three other dancers. Four shots later, Meg is still screaming, but the two girls who were to her right (on the left of the screen) are still dancing, as if they haven't seen Buquet yet. (01:05:10)

Character mistake: Chad actually steps on first base before the baseman has the ball. He was safe.

Character mistake: In the beginning of the film, Oliver has been brought by Mr. and Mrs. Bumble to the Governor's door after asking for more to eat. Mrs. Bumble then sings, "They'll lay the blame on the one who named him," and as Mr. Bumble is responding, "O-li-ver", look at Oliver. He is completely spacing out and not in character at all - staring off into the distance and flicking his tongue in and out of his mouth.

Character mistake: When Frenchie is the only person remaining in the soda shop a guardian comes on and starts singing a song. While he is singing the song (toward the end of his singing) all the girls scatteringly head back toward the stairs. While they are walking up, one of the girls trips over her high heels. It is clearly shown, she's toward the front going around the back of the seat Frenchie is sitting in, around the round thing.

Character mistake: When Dorothy and the others enter the Haunted forest, the sign reads "Witches Castle One Mile." "Witches" is plural. To be grammatically correct, it should have said "Witch's Castle," if one witch, or "Witches' Castle" if more than one.

Character mistake: At the beginning Sally follows Jack at the end of the Halloween celebration where he sings "Jack's Lament." She then goes off to gather more deadly nightshade. Look at Sally when she sits down. It is in front of a stone labeled "witch hazel" and "deadly nightshade" is seen next to it on the right. Yet, Sally pulls two pieces of witch hazel out of the ground, before a quick cut back to the lab where we see her putting it in a jar marked "nightshade".

Character mistake: When Dean Martin desribes his writer's block to Judy Holiday, she says that she keeps sharpening his Ticonderoga pencil until there's nothing left but the "Ti," but in fact what would be left on a little nib is the "ga."

Character mistake: When Wallace and Davis start performing together, they show the newspaper "Variety" with five different headlines. Three of those papers have the same story, "Old Trooper Dies."

Character mistake: The closing shot of a newspaper article shows the word "rumor", film is set in England where it's spelled "rumour".

Character mistake: During the "Money by the Pound" song, towards the end, Doc sings, "Can't you hear that jingle jangle sound." Hoagie (Red Buttons) starts mouthing the "Can't" before he catches himself.

Character mistake: The movie opens with the infant Molly Brown in a basket being swept down a raging river. She crashes and crawls up on the bank. No one else is around. But when the grown-up Molly tells her "pa" that she's going to Denver, she says, "Thank you for pulling me out of the flood."

Character mistake: Dumplin' is looking through her aunt's belongings, and finds an old application form for the Miss Teen Bluebonnet pageant. The application has an August 1993 signature but marks Lucy's DOB as 5/5/79 with a stated age of 16: it does not add up, as she'd have been 14 instead. Granted, it's an application she never actually turned in and not an official document, but this does not justify the mistake in the context of the movie (not to mention that had she just been too young to participate, the point of the movie would be moot).

Character mistake: Mother Nature tells Snow Miser to let it snow in Southland, it should be Southtown. (00:39:56)

Character mistake: Both in the movie (and stage) versions, Mushnik makes a verbal mistake. Seymour shows Mushnik his new plant (Audrey II) for the very first time, but seconds later when the plant suddenly droops, Mushnik asks Seymour, "Why is it always wilting like that?" Always? He's just seen the plant! The line should be, "Why is it wilting like that?" Some smart stage directors of the play version have wised up and changed the line.

Character mistake: At the end of Snow White, she bends down to kiss all of the dwarfs, however, she only kisses 6, not 7.

Character mistake: When Rooster jumps over the fire escape and the girls get forced back into the orphanage, if you look carefully, Pepper is in front of Lily St Regis and is actually pulling her into the room.

Character mistake: Before the junk man drives away he calls Mr Coggins "Bill." The correct first name is George.

Character mistake: At the beginning of the movie, during "Provincial Life", we see a fat lady trying on a hat in a hat store. The sign over the window, in French, reads "Chapeau" (hat). The correct way to identify that store would have been "Chapeaux" (hats) or "Chapelier" (hatter).
