Continuity mistake: There is a scene where the Chipmunks and Chipettes are singing the song "Girls of Rock and Roll." In that scene, it shows the boys walking up the stairs together and from left to right the order is: Simon, Alvin & Theodore. The shot goes to the girls then back to the guys. The order of the guys has switched: (left to right) Theodore, Alvin & Simon.
Continuity mistake: The tiger bites the seat off the suitor's trousers, allowing the viewer to see his polka-heart boxers. When we see the tiger in the courtyard, he has a part of the same boxer shorts in his mouth. So if he bit off the seat of the trousers, shouldn't he have purple cloth in his mouth? (00:11:45)
Continuity mistake: In the 'Gaston' song sequence, near the end, Gaston is sitting in his huge antler chair with Lefou. In the wide shot, there is a bear rug behind the chair. The camera does a close up of Gaston, then in the next wide shot, the chair is on top of the bear rug. Also, after this, Gaston gets up off of the chair and in the next shot, both the chair and the rug disappear completely. (00:29:20)
Continuity mistake: At Riley's Garage, when Troy and Chad are about to rummage through the junk looking for the radiator cap, Troy raises his arms and his boxers are light grey, but next shot when he lifts the truck's hood his boxers are black. It's also noteworthy to mention that during "Boys Are Back," young Troy is wearing patterned boxers, though all other clothing is identical. (00:53:45)Super Grover
Continuity mistake: In the scene just before Miss Piggy and Eileen get fired from the department store, Miss Piggy is watching Kermit and Jenny hug. She then bends a metal pole in half and starts hitting a barrel with it. When she first starts hitting it, the pole she is hitting it with is very thick(much thicker than the one she bent in half), is a different colour and not bent in any way. In the next shot the pole is thinner, longer and looks like the one she originally had, but it is only bent at the top whereas Miss Piggy bent it in the middle. In the next shot of her after that, the pole is now thicker (but not as thick as the first one), is not bent and the colour has changed again. Also if you look around the area where Miss Piggy is, there is only one type of pole lying around, so where did the other two come from? (00:30:15)
Factual error: Mr. Dawes Jr. states that the tuppence (two pence) invested by Michael grew into enough to pay off the mortgage on the house. Interest rates over that 20 year time period were about 4%, which would have made that 2p grow to all of 4p. Go nuts and assume an impossibly high return of 15% per annum, compound, consistent over the twenty years. Despite the fact that not even Bernie Madoff offered ridiculously high returns like that, after twenty years the original two pence investment would be worth 39p. As an aside, houses of the time cost about £750, far below current London prices, but still considerably more than 39p.wizard_of_gore
