Continuity mistake: As the plane lands in New York, there is a brief shot of the landing gear where a modern wide jet engine nacelle is visible. In all other shots the correct long skinny 60's style nacelle is seen. (02:00:45)
Continuity mistake: In the first race, the Supra crashes down after jumping the bridge, and a side shot shows that the Supra's rear wheels have changed from the expensive chrome items to the standard Supra wheels. (00:12:00)
Continuity mistake: When Paulie and Jimmy go to visit Henry at his girlfriend Janice's apartment to talk to him, after Paulie sits down and begins the conversation with Henry, both a Star of David pendant and a crucifix pendant can be seen hanging from the necklace around Henry's neck. At first the Star of David is hanging over the crucifix, then it has switched to the crucifix hanging over the Star of David. (01:16:15)
Continuity mistake: When John and Mai are fighting at the power plant, John tosses Mai up against a glass board. Her half pony tail has come undone and her hair is a big mess. You see Mai from the back as she gets up to come after John. Her hair is now neatly combed and back in a half pony tail. But as she begins to fight, her hair is once again undone and messy. Continuity mistake: Just before Amanda shoots Lynn her gun switches from her right hand to her left.
Continuity mistake: When Steve Zahn and Martin Lawrence are driving away from the police in the junkyard, they hit a car in the junkyard, and we can see the damage inflicted on it. However, in all of the shots following the car is not damaged. (00:55:35)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Tom Green has the boy hanging from a rope with a chainsaw. When the boy cuts the limb the limb hits the car, and bounces onto the ground. The camera cuts to Tom Green and Jason Lee, and then back to a shot where you can see the car and the limb is back on the trunk.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Thora Birch's character goes to a café with her psychologist, the psychologist takes a bite of a cake and puts it back on the table. In the next scene, the cake has not been touched.
Continuity mistake: After Jet Li has arrived in France and has left the cab, he is walking up a road which seems like China Town to find the shop with dragon in the window. As he arrives near the shop a prostitute with a long black jacket and red hair is standing and talking to a man wearing jeans. Then Jet looks at the picture and then at the dragon, the camera angle changes and as Jet is about to walk in you see the same woman standing against the wall and the man has done the Jet Li vanishing act.
Continuity mistake: During the birthday party, the cigarette over Brandon's ear switches from right ear to left ear.
Continuity mistake: There are seven Wharvey Gals. Three on the stage singing, three with the wife, and one that she's holding. One of the girls even says that there are seven of them. Yet in the end, when Everett and his wife are walking down the street, there are only six. One that she is carrying, and five following.
Continuity mistake: When Jack and the Duke are in the restaurant car of the first train, Jack is eating a chicken leg in one shot. In the middle of a sentence he changes to eating jelly and ice cream, which he finishes. In the very next shot his bowl is full of jelly and ice cream again.
Continuity mistake: There's a scene with a woman dead on the floor, in most of it her left hand is down and her right is at her mouth. But, in the last shot where she is seen, her left hand is at her mouth and her right is lying out away from her head.
Continuity mistake: After Jill has shot Jimmy she grabs her face crying. When it cuts her hands aren't on her face. (01:28:15)

Continuity mistake: During the bedroom scene, Annett Benning is stroking her lover's chin. Depending on the camera angle (pointing at her or pointing at him) her hands switch from left to right and back to the left. (00:43:25)
Continuity mistake: When Tom, as Dickie, rents a place in Rome, and after Tom kills Freddie, the police are all over him. Marge comes calling and Tom, as Dickie, asks the policeman to ask her to come back later, which leaves Tom alone with the detective. But as we see Marge creeping up the stairs, to see Dickie, suddenly, the policeman is with Tom and the detective, even though the policeman had left and Tom had closed the doors, so the policeman should not have been there.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Thunderbolt and Lightfoot are in the car with the crazy driver. The car goes over the embankment and as it flips you can see a wheel break off. A short time later they both drive off in the same car, with the wheel attached again.
Continuity mistake: Motorcycles used by traffic officers throughout the movie are Moto Guzzi V7 850. In the scene on the docks, two officers arrive on Moto Guzzis, but the moment they ride up the narrow ramp, they suddenly ride Triumph Bonnevilles. The two Triumphs are slightly different. Trained eyes can tell that the traffic cop and Callahan use them interchangeably, switching back and forth a few times. (01:45:45 - 01:52:55)
