Continuity mistake: When Eduardo finds the letter on the mantlepiece about them apparently stealing the idea for Facebook and asks Mark if they did or not, he places a bottle on the mantlepiece just before he finds the letter. This bottle rotates slightly between shots without him touching it after placing it down. (00:49:15)THGhost
Continuity mistake: When the bobsled team is getting their act together in Calgary, there's a scene of them pushing off with an unpainted bobsled. In the shots of the feet of the guys pushing at the back of the sled, you can see that the lower back of the sled is painted black with green stripes, the colours that they paint the sled in a scene a few minutes later.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci are in the car and Christina is driving, the camera pans to Charlize smoking a cigarette. The first shot it is half way done, the 2nd time it is at the filter and then again half way done and then it's gone and she lights a brand new one. (01:10:05)
Continuity mistake: In the very last scene in New Zealand when Jordan is giving a motivational speech, he approaches his first target in the audience and says 'Sell me this pen.' As he does so, he holds out a pen in his right hand. When we cut to the shot to the person's face, we see that the pen is in Jordan's left hand; this goes on and on with every person. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Howard supposedly has radio sex with that blonde woman, it flashes to other locations where people are listening, including one with police officers standing by what are clearly early to middle 1990s Ford Crown Victorias. Howard did the stint in the mid 1980s.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Marcus is removing the shrapnel from his leg, when he gets to the last and largest piece, he places the medallion from his necklace in his mouth to bite down on. As the scene transitions from the leg to his face as it is removed, he appears to no longer have the medallion in his mouth. Then once the shrapnel is removed, he collapses and still has the medallion in his mouth.David Dyer
