Character mistake: The card that Speedy leaves for George to read says "Speedy Gonzalez" instead of the traditional "Speedy Gonzales."
Character mistake: As the movie begins, a book opens up with various fairy tell things written in it. The name Cinderella is misspelled "Cincerella" on the second page, but is spelled correctly on the first page. It is also apparent that the second page just has some of the same text as on the first page. (00:00:20)
Character mistake: Gru doesn't recognize Nefario at the record shop, despite meeting him at Villain Con in the Minions movie. And given the fact that he can recognize all of his Minions without even asking them who they are, he should definitely remember seeing Dr. Nefario.
Character mistake: When Dex discovers Hairy Hold, Maximillius, Lola and Mr. Clean looking over the dead bodies, Dex asks who had died and Maximillius tells him that the dead bodies are of everyone who they threw out of the Copa-Banana earlier on, but Dan and Lady X are the only ones missing. However, a few scenes later, at the U.S.D.A meeting, many of the people who were present at the Copa-Banana and threw out are present at the meeting and are not dead. (00:24:35 - 00:26:50)
Character mistake: Lucy refers to fear of cats as "ailurophasia", which is incorrect; fear of cats is called "ailurophobia."
Character mistake: On the mailbox where Linus delivers his letter, on the side of the Mailbox is written "U.S Mail." That should be on the letter, not the mailbox. There should also be a period after the S making it U.S. Mail.
Character mistake: Olson discovers a "microchip blocking the self-assessment program" and says, "it's a worm"! It is not. "Computer worm" is a type of malware that propagates over a computer network. What Olson discovers is an act of sabotage of malicious nature, but definitely not a worm. (00:25:39)
Character mistake: When Barb introduces herself to Flint, Steve calls her a monkey, and she corrects him saying that she's an "Orangutang", pronouncing the G at the end. But the correct word is Orangutan, with no G sound. Barb would surely know this, as a genius ape.
Character mistake: Near the end of the movie, Charlotte says she doesn't have the strength to climb down into the crate. Two seconds later, she climbs down to comfort Wilbur, then climbs back up. Even if she couldn't go all the way to the crate, she was low enough that Wilbur could have carried her there himself.
Character mistake: When we first see Sophie her body was slumped over (the spell to make her old) but later on in the movie, her back magically seems fine. (00:00:01 - 01:50:00)
Character mistake: Archimedes says he told Arthur not to pull the sword out of the stone. He didn't, he pointed it out in the churchyard to him instead.
Suggested correction: Archimedes was trying to be helpful when he pointed out the sword so Merlin could take it to the tournament. But after it became a big issue with the rays from heaven and the legend, Archimedes thought he might get in trouble so tried to act innocent by fibbing. It was deliberate and in character, not a character mistake.
Character mistake: When everyone starts counting down to blow up the Violet Dwarf, everyone starts at 10 downwards. Yet 40 seconds later, they are still counting down. (01:19:40)
Suggested correction: Its very common for movies and TV shows to do this. Just because they say 10 seconds doesn't they can't spend more time going through the thoughts in Fry's head.
Character mistake: When Dracula puts Johnny on a time-out, it is shown that Dracula has the ability of psychokinesis. Yet during the scene when Mavis visits the human village, when one of the dressed up zombies loses its head, Dracula jumps into the scene to physically put the head back to its body, further risking being spotted by Mavis, which he wanted to avoid. (00:16:15)
Suggested correction: Using this power would also be a risk of Mavis finding out because his magic has blue effects around which she would spot.
I doubt that, she was facing the opposite direction of the headless zombie the entire time, and the zombie didn't stand too close to her. However, I have realised that the magic does seem to make sound, and the headless zombie did stand close enough to Mavis for her to would have heard Dracula's magic if he were to have used it.
Even with the sound, I doubt she would have noticed when there are what looks like villagers approaching her with pitchforks and torches.
Character mistake: The sign outside the Fortune Teller's tent says "Madame Zaza", but when Droopy enters the tent, Spike introduces himself as "Madame Zazu."
Character mistake: When a flattened Yosemite Sam returns the flattened ball to his wife, there is a theatre across the street that uses the English spelling of "theatre" instead of the American "theater."
Character mistake: When we see the sign in the window of the music shop, it reads "This Week Dance Record" which doesn't make much sense. Surely it was meant to read "This Week's Dance Record."
Character mistake: The registration number of the stolen van is GPW729 but every time it mentioned in the dialogue it is stated as GPW927.
Character mistake: When Nanny says, "Look, here's Lucky!" the puppy she picks up does not have a collar on, therefore that cannot be Lucky, as Lucky is one of the original 15 with collars. (01:16:48)
Character mistake: On the sign outside Dr I.Q. Hi's headquarters, the word "Stratosphere" is spelled "Stratopere."
Character mistake: When Tom opens the "Life with Tom" book to Page VII, we see the page and there is a typing error in the very first line. The word wasn't is misspelled as "was'nt."
