Continuity mistake: Miguel kicks and breaks a staircase railing during the school brawl. For a second it cuts to Robby. When it cuts back to Miguel, the railing is fixed.
Revealing mistake: When Johnny shows up to Cobra Kai dojo and all the kids are there. In the video playback they show on the phone you can see Miguel didn't land the kick, and the kid just fell down. (00:28:18)
Other mistake: Hawk gets a mohawk, but his hair was too short to style it like that.
Suggested correction: The mohawk was not a prop, but the actual hair of the actor they shaved off and mended together for him.
That is true, it was the actor's actual hair, but in the realm of the show, Eli's hair was not long enough to style that large of a mohawk out of it.
Continuity mistake: Johnny's car gets hit, and he comes up and starts banging on the windows. When the girls drive off, the rear window is down, when it wasn't prior.
Factual error: Johnny gets a personalized license plate that reads "cobrakai", which is 8 characters. California license plates only allow 7 characters.
December 19 - S3-E10
Revealing mistake: While Kreese is fighting Johnny, the stunt double is clear in several shots.
Revealing mistake: When Sam and Tory confront each other at school, the same extra (a girl wearing glasses) appears in two different places. She is behind Sam during the confrontation but Robby also runs past her in another shot. (00:11:25)
Continuity mistake: When Johnny leaves his home to go to Daniel's place it's night time but when he gets there suddenly it's daytime.
Suggested correction: Daniel lives far away. Johnny must have driven all night.
That implies that Daniel lives like 5-6 hours from his job.
I actually assumed that it was already like 6am or something like that and knowing how sprawled our everything is there figured maybe it was like a 40 min drive. But then Daniel's wife also says it's Saturday morning yet Miguel and Sam are in school.
Continuity mistake: When Sam and Tory are at the party, they both get two shots of vodka in the purple cup. Tory drinks the vodka, but after a while the vodka reappears.
Continuity mistake: In season 2, when Johnny is telling Miguel about the birth of his son, Robby, Johnny says Robby was born in 2002 and that it happened shortly after the death of his mother, Laura. In a flashback during the final episode, however, we see Johnny visiting Laura's grave, and it says she died in 2007.
Revealing mistake: The scene where Johnny is assembling the baby's crib in his apartment while talking with Carmen; they share a hug as the camera pulls back, and you can just make out the outline of the pregnancy pillow the actress is wearing under her flowered dress.
Other mistake: During the Sekai Taikai tournament, all of the characters and extras wear new, pristine gis (karate uniforms) that never seem to get dirty. As they use their own gear, you would expect at least some wear and tear from previous use, or some marks from the fights, training, sweating, etc., to show occasionally, but the uniforms all seem brand-new all the time.
Suggested correction: It's not uncommon for competitors to bring multiple gis to a tournament; perhaps the participants were told to always have a fresh uniform for the cameras.
Even if they brought multiple gis, you would expect to see some wear and tear, or marks from previous contests. Also, several of the contestants are high school students from low- or middle-income families; they would not be able to afford buying several brand new uniforms for a single contest.
Maybe the tournament organisers supplied the uniforms?
Audio problem: When Tori and Kwon are talking in the hotel lobby, Tori says, "Maybe you shouldn't have let him kick your ass," but as she turns her head, her lips aren't moving.
Revealing mistake: When Daniel (Macchio) sees Kumiko (Tomita) dancing in Tomi Village Green, several U.S. service members are watching. Close inspection reveals they are wearing no nametapes, rank, or branch tapes on their uniforms. All that is visible is the bare Velcro sections.
Continuity mistake: When in the woods at the meeting spot before the flag events, the sun is first high up in the sky, then very low in the background close to setting, then back high up in its original position (all from the same exact spot in each scene).
Continuity mistake: When Daniel is fighting Robbie's former friends on the beach, you can see a ship in the ocean behind him. The camera then cuts to his opponent, and then back to Daniel and the ship is gone.
Other mistake: As Sam recovers from her injuries, she keeps babying her right arm, when it was her left that Tory scraped with the wrist chain and bandaged.
Suggested correction: It was her right arm that Tory cut.
Match Point - S4-E5
Continuity mistake: Kreese and Silver have 2 glasses of water on their table. In the next shot, a waiter comes and places those glasses of water on the table. (00:17:57)
Continuity mistake: About 8 minutes into the episode, Silver is talking to the other female sensei, and she sees the stretch limo crash through the gates on her tablet. It makes it all the way through but when she picks it up to show Silver, the video backs itself up.
