Continuity mistake: When Baby Dragon is on Joey's field, the monster card on his duel disk is positioned at a rotated angle with the artwork facing to the left and the wording facing to the right. But later in the episode, when Joey summons Jinzo, in the shot of the Jinzo card being placed on the duel disk, the Baby Dragon card is facing the opposite direction, with the artwork facing to the right and the wording facing to the left. Character mistake: Yugi mistakenly says if he doesn't get a monster out to defend himself Mai can attack him directly, which wouldn't be possible since the rules of Duel Monsters during the Duelist Kingdom arc forbade direct attacks on defenseless opponents. That rule wouldn't be implemented until the Battle City arc.
