One Minute - S3-E7

Continuity mistake: Just after Hank crushes Leonel's legs by backing into him, Marco starts shooting into Hank's Jeep. You can see Hank crawling into the rear seat to escape through the side door. But as soon as the camera angle changes to inside the Jeep, Hank is back in the driver's seat and crawls out again. (00:43:30)

One Minute - S3-E7

Factual error: As demonstrated in the earlier scene where Leonel shot the truck driver/arms dealer, bulletproof vests do not make the wearer immune to bullets. Bulletproof vests are only designed to stop penetrating injury- they do not counteract the high energy of an impacting round, which can easily break ribs and cause internal injury. When Hank empties Leonel's dropped gun into Marco, Marco is barely staggered despite the fact that he just took five rapidly fired bullets in quick succession to his upper chest. That many hits at such close range in such a small zone would have, at minimum, shattered several of Marco's ribs and potentially punctured one or both of his lungs - both critical and incapacitating injuries on their own. As a result, Marco should have been unable to lift his gun to shoot Hank twice in the chest, much less swing an axe. Additionally, at least one bullet appears to strike Marco's clavicle and upper shoulder- both areas that are not protected by the vest. (00:44:00 - 00:45:00)

Suggested correction: Bullet proof vests disperse the energy of projectile impacts. Bad bruising can result but certainly not broken bones or punctured lungs.

They are not bulletproof vests. The correct name is bullet-resistant vest. Smaller rounds, like a .22 or .25 caliber, can penetrate a vest by going between the protecting fibers because of their smaller size. Also, they are not designed to resist high-powered rifle rounds.

One Minute - S3-E7

Other mistake: At the end, we see the gunfight between Tuco's cousins and Hank. Several shots are fired, cars smash into each other, a woman runs off screaming. So not a "quiet" attack. However, as the camera zooms out to show the carnage, 2 people who are not involved in the attack, are just stood talking in the car park. A bit odd since there has been a very clear shoot out. Suggested correction: Nobody is actually standing in the car park. People are standing around on the sidewalks talking to each other about what was going on, keeping their distance. Personally I would keep a bigger distance, but whatever distance they feel safe with.

lionhead

As the camera pans out you can see some people only a couple of cars away.

All I see are bystanders at a safe distance. At least from a distance they don't know where the actual shooting took place. It looks perfectly reasonable to me for the situation.

One Minute - S3-E7

Character mistake: When Hank is asked to hand over his gun and badge, he just puts his loaded gun on the table. When, in fact, you would remove the magazine and bullet in the chamber before handing it over.

I See You - S3-E8

Character mistake: When Hank is brought to the hospital with gunshot wounds, the ambulance and its two EMTs are met outside by two doctors. One doctor says "Let's get him two grams of oxygen. What's his hemoglobin?" This episode's technical adviser was perhaps away for this scene. How much exactly is two grams of oxygen? Orders for administering oxygen would be given in liters, such as two liters per minute (LPM). The line is presumably meant to be 'two liters of oxygen'. (00:02:25)

I See You - S3-E8

Audio problem: When in the canteen at the hospital, Marie says about how it's still part of the hospital. However, from the side angle, her mouth doesn't move. (00:19:00)

I See You - S3-E8

Continuity mistake: When Walt is talking about his operation, in the hospital Cafeteria after Hank is shot. He says the line "Lying there waiting for them to anesthetize you." From one angle, he is shown looking forward, while from the next angle, he is turned around facing Marie. (00:20:50)

Kafkaesque - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: As Saul is trying to explain to Jesse that he needs to launder his money and is trying to get him to buy the nail salon, Jesse says he's not going to and is looking right at him. It cuts to a different angle showing Saul's face and now suddenly Jesse is partly looking off to the side.

Fly - S3-E10

Character mistake: After Walt tries to slap the fly on the paper, he lifts his hand and the math is wrong on one of the sums. He has 6,012 + 7,287 = 13,301. But the actual answer is 13,299. (00:05:45)

Bishop73

Fly - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: When Walter is trying to kill the fly with his shoe, he leaves his notepad on the floor. Its position keeps changing between shots. (00:07:20)

Sacha

Fly - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: When Jesse is talking to Walt about wasting time, Jesse taps his wrist saying "tick tock." When he does, we see the rolled up newspaper in his hand touching his wrist. Camera cuts and now his arm and paper are out behind him. (00:16:10)

Fly - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: When Walt catches Jesse trying to add the powder to the cook, the way Jesse holds the bag changes between shots. In one shot, he is holding it low; in the next shot, he is holding the bag at the top. (00:17:20)

Fly - S3-E10

Audio problem: When Walt yells at Jesse through the lab's entrance door, the sound is very muffled, as if the door is a major insulator of sound. However, later, when Jesse yells at Walt through the same door, the sound is much clearer, and hardly muffled at all. (00:22:15 - 00:23:55)

Mechanic1c

Fly - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: When Walt finally goes back home and is sleeping in bed, the shadows of his window blinds are cast over his face and body. But his nose is pretty clear out in the light. When the camera cuts to a close up, suddenly the shadows are over his nose.

Show generally

Question: Just how does Walt intend to explain the presence of all that meth money, even posthumously? Just how does he think his heirs will react to that, how is he going to launder it? How does he think his wife and kids will explain it? If they knowingly inherit and use such money, they could face charges of accessory after the fact. Is this ever addressed in the show?

dizzyd

Chosen answer: I'm not sure how far you are into the show but he does eventually come up with a way to launder it (wont spoil it for you but rest assured, when he gets a lawyer the show gets much better!) and in the final season he also comes up with a way to give his children his money without the cops or the DA knowing it came from him.

The_Iceman

Answer: Walt decided to buy a car wash to launder his money, which makes a profit without the dirty money. At the end he blackmailed Elliot and Gretchen in to giving his money to junior and Holly. However 90% of his $80m is stolen.
