Other mistake: When Steve picks up the call from the Governor, his wristwatch points at about half past 10. The kidnapping, he then says getting to the location, happened one hour before, but during the opening his kid Evan whined that it was 6 am. Also to be noted, Steve in typical movie fashion is expositing the mission during the drive in the outskirts of town, as if he'd just have dragged his partner for miles without saying the first thing about the reason. Continuity mistake: Danny shows up with a paper bag at Steve's and when Steve asks about the contents, he says it's those "donut-looking things they sell around the block." He passes the bag of malasadas from the left hand to the right, but it cuts to Alex O'Loughlin and we see in frame Danny's right hand, empty. (00:03:55)
Continuity mistake: Roland Lowry is speaking with his son at the beginning of the episode. When his son whines that daddy is such a dictator, the position of his fingers on the phone changes between shots (fingertip on the back of the phone, fingertip on the side of the phone). (00:00:55)
Continuity mistake: Steve manages to fire 2 to 5 shots through the car's windshield (the windshield is intact before that), but when the car crashes into the container it has no less than 6 bullet holes in it. And when he pulls Sang Min out of the car, from that camera angle the windshield has no bullet holes. (00:35:00)
Other mistake: The human trafficker Sang Min covers his retreat from the warehouse firing wildly with a Micro Galil. In the time it takes for Steve to shout to the others if anybody is hurt, he somehow already ran all the way to his Mercedes deep up the alley and start it up so it can make a nice screeching noise and ram McGarrett. (00:34:50)
Continuity mistake: During the undercover operation, Danny tells Chin to pull the plug on the operation "Let's get her out of there." Steve's hand is on his belt, but it then cuts to a close-up where he has his hand on the radio. Similarly, during a cut to a close-up on Daniel Dae Kim, Scott Caan's arm pops up in view out of nowhere. (00:32:35)
Continuity mistake: The police operation with Kono undercover begins showing a timestamp on the video feed saying that it's "Monday, 21:16:40" (approx). Inside the warehouse though, when the smuggler boss asks her what she does for a living, we're back in time at 21:14:18. From then on, the time changes inconsistently to 21:15:33, 21:16:46 (more than a minute when she is just turning around), 21:16:04 (again wrong order) and as he sends a text to the mole, the reply comes at 9:24, which would mean 5-6 mins have passed. Continuity mistake: Grace Park comes out of the water and punches a guy; the part of the surf with the red and black logo faces up. Then she picks it up, and, in a way that does not register right consider her motion and the rotation, that side of the board is facing her. Another cut, and the board is facing the opposite direction. (00:28:20)
Continuity mistake: When Danny and Steve are standing dressed like dorks in the parking lot outside Kamekona's joint, behind them on the left there's a guy who is changing bathing suits using a towel to cover himself. When they speak with the pesky kid the guy finishes his deed and leaves, but when Danny reaches inside the car for the big pink fuzzy thing, that guy is back in that spot. (00:26:05)
Continuity mistake: When Steve McGarrett takes the picture of the footprint, what is photographing is different from what was shown earlier; the print and the objects to the left shifted - easy to tell using the tiles as reference, since in the picture the heel of the foot stops right at the line between two tiles, while it went well across it in the original shot. Continuity mistake: Danny and Grace get up to go buy some nachos; at the cut, both Chin and Steve's hands have changed position. (00:01:55)
Continuity mistake: When Steve and Danny enter Bar 35 it's daylight, and when they leave after no more than a few minutes it's completely dark.

Other mistake: Grover is going through the personal effects of a victim. He picks up a phone, attempts to open it and declares it locked. When it is put in the evidence bag, you can see it is open. (00:13:10)
Ihea 'oe i ka wa a ka ua e loku ana? - S10-E12
Factual error: A CIA officer stops McGarrett and companions from entering a house to make an arrest. The mistakes here are numerous: 1 - The "CIA officers" have protective vests that say "CIA" on them. No such thing. 2 - They are carrying weapons. Only officers in the Security Protective Service and those officers in a war zone carry weapons. 3 - The CIA is not a law enforcement agency. The FBI handles matters domestically. 4 - The CIA's responsibility is to collect intelligence and information overseas. Last I looked, Hawaii was part of the United States. (00:33:10)

Factual error: Higgins gets counterintelligence documents from an operative. The document says "CLASSIFIED" at the top. A real document would have the actual classification, e.g., TOP SECRET - NOFORN; SECRET, etc. on it and not the word "classified." To make matters worse, at the bottom the word is misspelled "CLASSAFIED" (00:27:30)
