Continuity mistake: Season 3, Episode 68, "The Duel": When the truck first blows its tire, it is in a very muddy, watery patch of road. Subsequent scenes show the road is dry except under the truck where the truck driver is trying to jack up the truck to change the blown tire.
Continuity mistake: Season 3, Episode 68, "The Duel": Opening shot shows a "German" tank with the commander's cupola on the left side of the turret. As the "German" tank is really an M-41 Walker Bulldog from the Korean/Vietnam era, the cupola should be on the right side of the turret as the majority of American tanks since WWII have that feature. Obviously, the film was flipped.
Revealing mistake: Season 3, Episode 73, "Losers Cry Deal", a GI in the squad fires a rifle grenade at a German machine gun position in a window of a building. Not only does the rifle grenade miss the mg position, it misses where the pyrotechnic representing the rifle grenade exploding was planted.
Factual error: Sgt. Saunders is looking at a color photo of his kid brother in a letter from home. Aside from being prohibitively expensive for the average family to afford, color photos were not common. Also, the wartime rationing of photo chemicals for color film used by civilians would not be available.
Continuity mistake: The first shot of the German tank shows the tank commander's station on the left side of the turret; later on and for the rest of the episode the TC's station is shown on the right side of the turret. Note: WWII German tanks had the TC station on the left side of the turret while most American tanks during and after WWII had the TC station on the right side of the turret. The tank used in this episode was a Korean/Vietnam War-era American M-41 Walker Bulldog.
Continuity mistake: During the gun battle at the farmhouse, the number of bullet holes striking the window frame varies from scene to scene. Also, the window frame gets shot to pieces, but in subsequent scenes the window frame is intact-aside from the bullet holes in it.
Continuity mistake: The American soldiers lift out the bodies of the two German tankers and immediately start off in the German tank. They did not have time to hide/dispose of the bodies, yet when other German units show up shortly after, the bodies are missing.
Continuity mistake: The war correspondent causes a disturbance. By the time the German guards enter the room, Saunders has the correspondent subdued with a knife he found. Each time the camera does a closeup of the knife Saunders is holding it in a different position.
Revealing mistake: In several scenes when they show the front of the barrel of the German machine gun you can see the "blank adaptor" inside the barrel. This is inserted to not allow the gas from the cartridge to escape out the barrel but "blow back" the bolt and insert another round.
Continuity mistake: At the start of the episode the barrel points to his left, during the close ups talking to the men in the jeep it points to his right, and as the jeep pulls away within the next frame it switches from left to right. Also, the men behind the jeep go from sitting to marching instantly.

Factual error: Combat is set in Northern France, where there are no snow-capped mountains. Yet Saunders' troops are crossing such terrain here. It's also apparent that, despite dialogue referring to sub-zero temperatures, it isn't really very cold. The actors are sweating in their snow gear, there's no frost on them, and no one's breath is forming any clouds in the air.

Visible crew/equipment: When the prisoners are looking for the dirt from the tunnel they discover it is in the attic. While they are removing a board from the ceiling they reveal an overhead stage light. You can tell this is a mistake because they hurriedly put the board back.
