Castle

Almost Famous - S3-E7

Trivia: When Ryan and Esposito go to where the victim worked, the guy that talks to them was on an episode of the short TV series Moonlight where he played a guy that was stalking a girl after his death. He even tells Ryan that if he changes his mind, he'll give him some hair gel and fangs; the guy was turned into a vampire before his execution.

Probable Cause - S5-E5

Trivia: While trying to prove 3XK framed him for murder, Castle identifies "Joseph Vacher", an alias Tyson used, as a serial killer from 19th century France. Active from 1894 to 1897, Vacher murdered and mutilated at least eleven people, and was often compared to Jack the Ripper.

Knockdown - S3-E13

Trivia: This is the first time Castle admits he has feelings for Beckett that are more than platonic. He doesn't say anything explicit, but confesses to Martha that spending time at the precinct has become about more than inspiration for his "Nikki Heat" books.

Always - S4-E23

Trivia: Just before Beckett shows up at the loft to admit her feelings for Castle, he ignores an incoming phone call from her. The picture of her on his phone screen is the same picture of her on his digital murder board about her shooting. Not necessarily a goof, since he could simply like that picture of her, but interesting to notice.

Always Buy Retail - S1-E6

Trivia: At 39:08 the stock footage of NYC looking south-southwest over Central Park was taken pre-2003, probably pre-2001: the Time-Warner Center is not yet constructed, and that building was topped out in 2003, which was years before "Castle" is supposed to have taken place. (00:39:05)

Overkill - S2-E23

Audio problem: When Demming writes "Stolen books" on the white board and says, "Killed for a fortune in stolen books, so I'll run the work crews and see if anybody has priors", his lips don't match what he's saying at all.

Reality Star Struck - S5-E14

Question: Before this episode, there was a Christmas episode "Secret Santa" and then there was "Significant Others" with Meredith showing up to take care of Alexis. In that episode, Beckett mentions choosing the movie Valentine's Day for a date night, causing her to lose a turn. In this episode, Castle and Beckett are celebrating their first Valentine's Day together. So, are they celebrating Valentine's Day twice? This wasn't too long after the Christmas episode and when Beckett made her movie choice, no snow was on the ground. Is this a mistake or is this really their first Valentine's Day together?

Answer: The networks are now having winter breaks. A mid season end of new episodes, when they come back after the new year, it picks up as if several months have gone by. Beckett suggested Valentine's Day as a "chick flick" to watch as she is moved in. Also some episodes are not scheduled to air in order.
