Continuity mistake: The number of outlaws in the gang mysteriously increases during one chase scene. For most of the episode, there are only three of them. When they gallop off after Manolito, there are suddenly five. Next scene, there are three again.

Continuity mistake: The blood stain on Sangre's clothing disappears when Manolito borrows the outfit as a disguise. It reappears at the end just in time for Sangre to put the clothes back on again.

Continuity mistake: Red Eagle's war paint changes between takes. Sometimes it's red with blue striping. In other shots, the blue stripes disappear.

Continuity mistake: One of the bad guys rides the stolen black stallion throughout the episode - except when the gang rides away from the cantina. Then, all their horses are brown. Once they're out in the desert, the black horse reappears.

Continuity mistake: When Buck tries to comfort a bereft Manolito, Mano is sobbing and leaning his forehead against a tree trunk. But when the shot reverses angles, he's abruptly standing upright a foot away from the tree.

Manolito rushes into Don Sebastian's study, passing two large, open doors. When the shot cuts, he passes the same doors again.

Trivia

While shooting an early episode, Henry Darrow fell from his horse and suffered a painful bruise when he landed very hard on the gun at his hip. After much pleading, he convinced the producers and the prop dept. to make a replica pistol out of rubber. Replaced by the real one only when it actually had to be fired, the fake gun remained in Manolito's holster for the rest of the show's run.
