Continuity mistake: As Shawn's dad is showing him how to drive the boat, he is alternately leaning against the railing with his arm outstretched, and with his arm at his side, depending on the camera angle. (00:20:25)
Continuity mistake: A man attacks the judge by running out of the shower. When he runs through the shower, a shower curtain is draped over him. For most of the scene it is over his head, but when he is dragging the judge into the shower, the curtain has moved off of his head and is even gone completely in one shot, perhaps to make the actor more visible.
Gus's Dad May Have Killed an Old Guy - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: Just before Shawn notices the abrasion on the corpse's scalp, the two men put the man's arm in the body bag and begin to zip it up. They then put the same arm in the body bag again, as the stain on the man's shirt front is shown.
If You're So Smart, Then Why Are You Dead? - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: When they are talking to the two kids outside of the school for the first time, one of the kids has a juice box. Shawn starts talking and it shows from behind the one kid with the juice box and he is about to take a sip, then the shot changes and the juice box is by his side.
Gus's Dad May Have Killed an Old Guy - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: The red ball in the first scene changes position. In the close up shot, there is a green plant in front of the ball with two stems. In the next shot (from above) there is no longer a plant on that side of the red ball.
Psy vs. Psy - S2-E3
Continuity mistake: When Shawn kicks over the carry-on bag at the end, it lands with the handle on top. The subsequent wide shot shows the bag with the handle on the bottom. The handle is back on top just before the bag is opened.
Continuity mistake: When Shawn, Gus, and Nigel are having dinner over at Henry's house, Shawn's plate already has a steak on it before Henry walks in with the first batch. Then, the steak disappears right before Henry plops one on Shawn's plate.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Shawn is brought into his childhood bedroom to investigate Allison's abduction, there is a "Peeping Tom" band poster visible behind him for a few seconds. This was Shawn's bedroom in the 90's, and "Peeping Tom" didn't exist until 2006.

Continuity mistake: In one of the first shots showing Agatha's friend Lucy behind the police line, Gus is visible in the background talking before Shawn and Gus arrive at the scene. (00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: In the restaurant, Byrd slamms Tancana's face into a burger and mustard/ketchup smears across the left side of his face and nose. In the echo, the condiments are on the opposite side of his face. After Tancan drops down behind the seat and then reappears, most of the condiments have been removed, but the glob on the left side of his nose is lower and more on the top of his nose than it had been before. (Not a change that would have happened from him rubbing it off and missing some.) The blob continues to migrate throughout the rest of the time they are in the car.
Continuity mistake: When Carlton is talking to the judge, the match in his mouth changes from the left and right throughout the scene.
If You're So Smart, Then Why Are You Dead? - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: When Shawn calls the first student up to the board to write a number, firstly the written number is 6.00214, which is an incorrect Avagadro's number, but it is not always this incorrect number. At some point during filming somebody changed it to the correct number: 6.02214, and you can see the number actually changing back and forth between the two numerous times during this scene.
Shawn and Gus Truck Things Up - S8-E7
Continuity mistake: Shawn throws an oven mitt at Gus. It bounces off him and lands on the floor. When Gus gets up, the oven mitt is gone. (00:38:37)
Shawn and Gus Truck Things Up - S8-E7
Continuity mistake: Gus walks over to Shawn with toys in his hand. The shot changes, one of the toys disappears. (00:25:16)
Continuity mistake: When Tancana is first revealed in his cousin's restaurant, he is out of the prison uniform and completely changed into his street clothes, while still handcuffed. Also, he doesn't think to move his cuffed hands from his back to his front until much after his escape, while he is in Gus' car.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode when Shawn and Gus are walking to their office, in some shots the tide is in, in others the tide is out.
Ferry Tale - S5-E7
Continuity mistake: When Young Shawn tapes his and Gus' legs together he puts the tape on the ground. When they start to run it has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Shawn gets in Gus' car by the Psych office, the seat belt he puts on keeps changing position with each shot.
Continuity mistake: When Shawn wants Gus to throw him the baseball, the people walking in the background behind Gus keep changing between shots.
Chosen answer: "Psych: The Musical" was supposed to air during the regular season 7 schedule, before Chief Vick is suspended and Jules discovers Shawn's lie, but the network decided to push it back to air as a special episode, sort of as a tie in with the holiday season and a lead in to season 8, which was to begin only a couple of months later.
