Continuity mistake: When Derek is talking to Meredith on the hospital balcony and they are eating a sandwich each, in one shot Derek is taking a bite from his sandwich, then in the next shot he is suddenly holding it down at waist level. He then raises it to take another bite and you can see the previous bite has gone and the sandwich is whole again.
