Continuity mistake: When West is pulling the string to shoot the gun, we can see under both knees his pants are covered in dirt. As he runs to enter the Saloon, the front camera shot shows no sign of dirt. (00:44:10)

Continuity mistake: When West and Dr. Pringle back up to the steel door to escape, West is about three feet in front of it. One of the villain's henchmen bursts in, saying, "hold it." The next shot and West is about eight feet away from the door and the henchman.

Continuity mistake: Dr. Pringle and West back up to a steel door to escape from the room and West is behind a table with lab equipment on it. A henchman charges in, gun drawn on West. The next instant shot shows the table has moved several feet to the viewer's left, presumably to make room for the impending fist fight West will have with the bad guys.

Continuity mistake: Halfway between the opening credits and first freeze frame, Gordon and Ms. Lily Fortune are seen entering the private train car in the dark of night, but the shot before their entrance is of the front of the private train car at twilight. That shot of the train car also shows a backwards number 3.
The Night of the Returning Dead - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: In the barn, when Artemus jokes about "smoked ham," he and West are standing within inches of each other. Then the shot cuts to a wider angle, at which point they're several feet apart. (00:21:20)

Continuity mistake: The large black straps hanging off the sides of Dr. Faustina's medical table disappear when West and Gordon burst into the lab. (00:44:00)
The Night of the Raven - S2-E3
Continuity mistake: West and Gordon are ordered to sit on the floor to talk to the diminutive Dr. Loveless at eye level. In all the two-shots, their shoulders are touching. In all the wider angles, they're sitting a foot apart. (00:09:05)
The Night of the Returning Dead - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: It's just past nightfall when the townspeople enter the courthouse. They aren't there more than half an hour, yet it's daylight when they emerge. Then a shot from inside shows that it's night again. (00:28:30 - 00:33:30)
The Night of the Skulls - S2-E13
Continuity mistake: West's sword fight ends when his opponent falls through a window after dropping his weapon. In the next shot, the dropped blade has moved several feet to the center of the floor, and West's sword has vanished altogether. (00:30:00)

Continuity mistake: West tosses a small grenade at the French doors. We see it hit and explode without breaking a single pane or crosspiece. It just makes smoke and blackens the surface. After a shot of West and Gordon, we cut back to the door and it's now a broken ruin with no glass and the wood framing destroyed. Delayed action bomb? (00:13:00)

Continuity mistake: Dr. Loveless' henchmen remove Artemus' leg chain. But a few scenes later, he's shown asleep in a chair, and the chain is back around his ankle. (00:28:35)

Continuity mistake: After a bomb explodes near West, when he stands up, there is a rip midway on the seam of the seat of his pants. In the subsequent fight scene, the tear is no longer visible. (00:28:25)

Continuity mistake: In the final scene of this episode, the train is shown at twilight. When Gordon leaves the private box car, it is pitch black outside. The last shot of the episode shows the train in twilight again. (00:47:10 - 00:47:45)

Continuity mistake: The bird flies and lands on two books. To the right of the books is a red glass bottle with a frame document behind it. The next shot of bird shows it atop the red glass bottle which is now to the left of the books, away from the framed document. (00:01:10 - 00:02:45)

Continuity mistake: When West ties his horse to column, there is a boarded up entrance to the left with one wooden plank at a 45 degree angle in the middle. When West returns to his horse to leave, the plank is missing, and West rides off without having to untie his horse. (00:03:05 - 00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: West enters the portrait and is stretched out on his back on the ground. As he is walking to the saloon, his entire backside of his suit is covered in dirt. West becomes dizzy, and as he is falling to the ground, face first, we see that the entire back side of his suit is clean. (00:35:50)

Continuity mistake: During the fight, the candle on the left tilts to the left. Next shot, it is perfectly vertical. West knocks a thug into the bureau, and left candlestick tilts to the right. After the fight is done when West is opening the door for Gordon, the candle is inexplicably on the floor. (00:12:45)

Continuity mistake: The second thug to be knocked-out is on the floor (to the left of screen) and has fallen on his left-side with his left leg slightly bent, and his right leg cannot be seen. When Gordon enters the room, this unconscious thug is now positioned face down, arms extended over his head, and both legs stretched out. (00:12:55)
