Continuity mistake: When River is talking to the Roman commander after disintegrating a piece of furniture with her pistol, she is shown raising her fingers from the pistol's grip in a shot facing the commander. However, in all following shots facing her, her fingers are still lowered. (00:17:50)

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor is flipping through a book while talking with Amy on his earpiece, in the close-up shot he's using his right hand, but in the wide shot is using his left hand, going through the pages the other way. (00:12:10)

Cold Blood (2) - S5-E9

Continuity mistake: Near the end, when the Doctor is explaining to Amy that she will forget Rory when the crack in time is finished eating him because he's part of her personal timeline, and he has his hands on her temples, Amy's hair is covering her ears in some shots, but not others. (00:40:56)

Cold Blood (2) - S5-E9

Continuity mistake: When Ambrose, while standing with Elliott, admits to killing Alaya, in the first shot, Elliott is standing in front and to the right of Ambrose. In the second shot, he's standing to her left. (00:27:52)

Flesh and Stone (2) - S5-E5

Continuity mistake: In the last scene, when Amy attempts to seduce the Doctor, she pulls his suspenders off his shoulders and he pulls them back on. As a result, the suspenders change position between shots.

The Beast Below - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: In the scene at the beginning with the boy on the Vator being sent "below", the Smiler in the lift is shown with its head turned to its frowning face shortly before it is shown changing its expression. (00:02:23)

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor first meets Liz 10, during their conversation, her hood is pulled completely over her hair in shots facing her, but some of her hair is sticking past her hood in shots facing the Doctor.

New Earth - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: When Rose gets into one of the hospital's elevators early in the episode, stock footage of an elevator descending is shown. When the Doctor, Rose and Cassandra (possessing her) go into an elevator shaft later on, it looks and is shaped completely differently. (00:34:05)

The Runaway Bride - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: The episode repeats the closing scene of "Doomsday", when Donna unexpectedly appears in the TARDIS. However, several details are different. One, the console room is more brightly lit than in the previous episode. Two, the shirt belonging to Rose that Donna finds draped over a railing was not present. Three, the Doctor's coat (draped over a ceiling support) has shifted in place, despite not being touched. (00:01:15)

The Sound of Drums (2) - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: On the Valiant's bridge, when the Doctor is telling Martha and Jack about his plan to slip one of the perception filter keys around the Master's neck while holding his key, the position of the key changes in his hand, from being held by the wide end to being held by the narrow end. (00:37:15)

Partners in Crime - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: Just before Penny Carter tells the Doctor and Donna that she's going to report them for "madness", the Doctor is seen holding Miss Foster's sonic pen, which he threw in the trash just moments earlier. (00:42:10)

Gridlock - S3-E3

Continuity mistake: The registration of Milo and Cheen's car is shown on the computer screen and stated aloud as "4-6-5-◊-6." However, there is a shot of Martha and Cheen looking out the window where the car's registration sticker is visible, showing a different registration: "9-9-6-γ-1." (00:13:15)

Army of Ghosts (1) - S2-E15

Continuity mistake: When the Sphere Chamber is first shown, there is a rolling staircase set up just below the Sphere. Rajesh Singh is shown climbing the staircase and nearly touching the Sphere. However, when the room is next seen, when Raj hears that the Doctor is coming and walks up to look at the Sphere again, the staircase has vanished. Later, when the Doctor and Jackie are shown into the room while Yvonne gives them the Torchwood tour, the staircase is still missing, and it's more obvious that it is no longer in the room. It does not reappear for the remainder of the two-parter.

The Eleventh Hour - S5-E1

Continuity mistake: During the scene on the hospital roof, when the Doctor is telling off the Atraxi while simultaneously choosing a tie out of several he stole from the locker room, the number of ties draped around his shoulders and the position of his hands changes between shots. (00:52:35)

Rise of the Cybermen (1) - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: In this episode's TARDIS scenes, the yellow padded seat is positioned so that it's on the side of the console closer to the door, so people sitting on it are facing away from the door. In all other episodes featuring this version of the console room, the seat is positioned on the side of the console opposite the door.

World War Three (2) - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: Partway through the episode, there's a wide shot of London, with an undamaged Big Ben visible. The inciting incident of the previous episode was a spaceship crashing into the clock tower, severely damaging it. (00:25:40)

The End of Time - S4-E17

Continuity mistake: During the Doctor and the Master's conversation in the junkyard, the Master gets dust on the legs of his jeans. Just before he lightning-jumps away, the dust vanishes. (00:35:15)

The Christmas Invasion - S2-E2

Continuity mistake: When the robotic Christmas tree attacks Rose, Jackie and Mickey in the Tylers' flat, it barrels through the internal window and destroys a supporting pillar separating the living room from the main hallway. Later in the episode, the pillar is seen intact. (00:13:30)
