Question: Where did Kayla go? When did they get rid of her and where did she go? And which episode is it?

Answer: Kayla was sent away in episode 16 (The Gun Song) in season 4, after falsely accusing Lynette of child abuse. She now lives with her grandparents - probably Nora's parents.

I'm curious why we never see her again, why she never talked about, and why Tom never mentions visiting her.

Question: Karl bought Susan a new house, when she was living in a trailer. When did she move back to the old one? because when she and Mike were moving out she said that Julie was growing up in this house (which she wasn't).

Answer: Susan didn't end up accepting Karl's offer to buy her a new house, and she stayed in the trailer until her house was finished being rebuilt.

Question: In two episodes I have seen an automobile license plate on a vehicle parked on Wisteria Lane that has on it the slogan "The Eagle State." I have looked this up on the Internet and the only state I can find that is "The Eagle State" is Mississippi. Surely Wisteria Lane is not in Mississippi. Is California also "The Eagle State"? Is there any explanation for this automobile license tag?

Kathleen Albers

Chosen answer: The state is purposely left unsaid and only referred to as "The Eagle State" - this is done to imply that Wisteria Lane could be in any suburb in America. The vehicle could be from out of state.

Question: Before Nora dies, was there ever actually any chance at all that Tom and Lynette would get full custody of Kayla? I mean, she hasn't exactly known them for a very long time, and there was nothing suggesting Nora didn't take good care of her.

Answer: Full custody was always going to be a stretch simply because Nora was the mother and generally courts favour mothers except in certain conditions. Perhaps the only thing that might have given them full custody was the fact that Nora was moving Kayla with her to Mexico and because that would hamper Tom's visitations. However as you have stated there really wasn't much to suggest they could get full custody.

Question: What are Betty Applewhite and her son holding Caleb prisoner in their house and why won't they allow him to be incarcerated?

Answer: The clues so far point to the fact that Caleb was accused of killing a teenaged girl. Betty could be hiding him because she knows that he will not be treated fairly or properly because of his learning disability. The exact reasons will most likely be revealed as the season progresses.

Answer: Rex was a very successful doctor - he most likely had a life insurance policy to take care of Bree and the kids.

Question: I am watching a re-run of Desperate Housewives (not sure of which season) And I see that Edie has a son (Trevor) I did not know that. Here's my question(s) . Where was he this whole time? Who is his father? How did he come to live with Edie? And I don't see him on the current shows so Where is he now? Thanks.

Answer: Her son is Travers - they've mentioned in previous seasons that she had a son but you never seen him until now. he was staying with Edie because his father had to go out of the country for four weeks with "doctors without borders". Edie knew she couldn't give him the life he deserved and she never really wanted kids so she gave full custody to his dad. he's not in the current seasons because his dad's four week tour ended.

Question: At some point in season 3 it is discovered that Mrs McCluskey has been keeping her dead husband's body in the freezer so that she can keep drawing his pension. For a while the other residents of the lane ostracize her because they believe she has murdered her husband. When she explains the reason why she kept him in the freezer everyone just accepts it and it is never mentioned again. However, pension fraud is a major crime. Why was she not arrested?

Answer: Sympathy most likely. The husband didn't leave anything to her upon his death, so they might have not wanted to upend her life any more.

Lummie

Answer: Trevor kept it with him when he left.
