Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When the shaft that Virgil slides down connects to Thunderbird 2, we can see Pod 3 to the right of Thunderbird 2. Seconds after Virgil's chair has locked into place, we see the pods slide across from left to right, including Pod 3. I thought that was to the right of TB2? It couldn't have been quickly moved to the left, as we see that Pod transportation is very slow. It couldn't of been a spare, as there is no sign of it when we see Pod 1, etc, roll to the right.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Revealing mistake: When Scott has retrieved Virgil from the Pit using The Mole, when it reverses back onto its chassis above ground, you can see dust flying upwards from the ground. It is therefore obvious that this is footage played backwards. (00:39:05)

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Although the Sidewinder fell on its back, the crew is always seen standing the right way in the control room.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Other mistake: When the atomic reactor goes down 20 points in the Sidewinder, look at Frank and you can see his left eyebrow is missing.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Brains is showing Scott and Virgil the diagram he has drawn, you can see in some shots he is holding a pencil in his right hand. But in close-ups of the diagram, he no longer has the pencil in his hand.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Plot hole: The Sidewinder was heating up all the time and it was becoming increasingly uncomfortable for the crew men inside, yet none of them thought to take off their thick jackets.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: During the launch sequence of Thunderbird 2, Virgil is sitting in his seat with the steering wheel in front of him the correct way, but when Brains comes down in the lift, the steering wheel is upside down.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When we see a model of the US Army helicopter and the four crew members outside it, you can see there is no-one inside the helicopter, but when we see the crew members talking outside the helicopter, a man has suddenly appeared.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Visible crew/equipment: At the start of the episode when there are close-ups of Colonel Sweeney's face, studio lights can be seen in the reflection of his sunglasses.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Once Frank has started talking for the first time in the episode, he has taken his hat off. Once the Sidewinder has started moving again his hat has reappeared back on his head. The moment it tips on its side his hat is once again off.

Pit of Peril - S1-E2

Revealing mistake: When the four US Army members are talking outside the US Army helicopter discussing the Sidewinder situation, there is a man in the helicopter who is someone else and not Helijet Pilot Charlie.
